From: Jonquille Noir I guess it depends on your opinion of what a 'respectable manner' is, Pen. I don't find trying to ruin someone's business on a whim very respectable. I find it extremely knee-jerk and attention-whoring. Do you find it respectable to do that, Pendari? Your penchant for defending Ulrika regardless of what shit she pulls is really starting to piss me off. I couldn't agree more. Took the words out of my mouth.

From: Merwan Marker Please know I am not in favor of a boycott of SLExchange.com. This will hurt the merchants that HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS SITUATION of my being locked out. This attitude is an example of why people love Merwan

From: Lynn Lippmann Remember Ulrika, it wasn't too long ago that you were accused of copying someone else's work and putting it up as your own.
We all waited patiently for the Linden's to verify the truth.
I think this speaks volumes for the community.

wtf? One 4 page drama thread on this wasn't enough? We need another only without the slanted poll? Fuck this -- and also fuck sexism -- I'm GIRLCOTTING these threads Oh the humanity! *dramatically puts forehand to head and swoons*

From: Juro Kothari I think this speaks volumes for the community. I disagree. As I was a major reader of that issue as well. I barely new Ulrika at the time. I remember asking her only one question in that issue, and that was what would have been Sensual's motivations for claiming what she did. Ulrika had been under the impression that Sensual had entered the contest. Which was not the case. At any rate, people did not just sit paitently and wait for the lindens to verify the truth. That is a huge laugh. Pages and pages and various threads were based around the topic. And there were people screaming and attacking both Ulrika and Sensual at the time. Some would claim now they were for Ulrika, when actually at the time they were against her. And I'm sure it would be the same for Sensual. At any rate, no. There was no waiting. The issue was hashed and rehashed in the forum just as every major thing that happens in SL or to it's members (though mainly forum members) does.

From: Pendari Lorentz I disagree. . . OK Pen... you're probably right. When that whole thing came loose, I tried, as I always do, to reserve any judgement until all the facts are out there and/or verified. I guess I find it more ironic that a person who's been on the 'other' end would now lead the charge for premature community judgement.

Ulrika is no saint, but she does listen to others (even if it takes her a while to digest it, or even if she does not always do what is suggested - I do know that she listens though). Hopefully she will read what you just wrote and it will make her think.

I am also disapointed in Ulrika's behavior, especially in calling Apotheus a criminal - which is not true and highly unethical. The irony is that Ulrika holds ethics in high regard, which most of us do.
I am also against a boycott simply because while it may 'punish' SL Exchange, it will also punish the vendors who do not have anything to do with this.

Then maybe she'd shut the hell up about the whole thing.

From: Dragon Stryker I really wish Ulrika would read this. Then maybe she'd shut the hell up about the whole thing. Fundamentally, Ulrika's boycott has nothing to do with this issue. Or even this sort of issue.
