BTW Roland, On another forum board, I was called a Dope smokin, ear totin, baby killin, dinosaur, just 2 months ago. So some still think of Vets as sub-human animals.

Oh yeah the guy that called me that is a US Marine Captain. Brother in arms no more.

Somehow I doubt that the guy who called you that was actually a Marine Captain. Perhaps he said he was, but I find it hard to believe that a Marine would condemn a fellow soldier for fighting in Vietnam.

You all want a new world order, where The one world, has a socialist govenment, and a one world church, and you dont even care if its a hateful one.
Things, and people, aren't that simple, Eandi. If you feel there is a gang of us here, we are not united by all being for the same thing, as you suggest. Any uniting is by what we are against, which is killing people who are not, actually, threatening us at all. And being insulted by being told a pack of childish lies to justify it. Have you not spotted, as a soldier, how the millionaires who are making the decisions seem to make money out of wars, without risking their lives at all ?

I am not a socialist. I belong to no church. I believe in a diversity of different people and cultures and even religions if they limit themselves to spiritual questions. The only new world order I see being pushed is by Bush and Rumsfeld etc. I hate to see other people being given valid reasons for hating us. I want to be able to travel the world and be safe and welcome, and now I can't.

Also, I see no reason why you should let forum-talk ruin SL for you. The huge majority of residents never come here. Even if we are exactly as you say, just ignore us. What do we know, after all ?

In my previous threads, "Key an SUV" and "Destroy a Bible", I was suggesting as a form of activism, that individuals engage in illegal activities, namely vandalism and petty theft, to combat overconsumption and religious zealotry. Now it's time to unveil my most heinous recommendation to date.

The next time you wish to depose a dictator and take control of vast quantities of oil, illegally invade the country and kill 100,000 of its citizens and sacrifice over 2000 of your own soldiers.

hehe *sigh* I remember back in the day when such thoughts were soooo punkrock, funny how they are becoming mainstream. I'm 39 and my generation learned about what the US did in El Salvador from punk zines/underground publishing (most of you would have never even heard of it, if you are an American that is)
and we detested Reagan (hell, I wrote anti-Reagan punk songs while he was my commander in cheif during my military days) (one of the songs is on my radio station hehe!).

We knew that the corporate powers were choosing figureheads to change laws to get more proffits and now here we are oil companys with record billions in profits and the usa going down the tubes for the average person, that IS what Jello Biafra was talking about 20 years ago. Now I hear the same thing on my car radio haha!

The radio show Democracy Now had a big influence on me when I was going through a period of awakening.
