They were better in my opinion than who they ran against. heres an even more mind blowing thing, I voted for Reagans reelection (too young to vote for Carter's) and Bush Sr.'s then voted for Clinton, because I was mad at Bush for how he handled Desert Storm, I was there and we could have easily prevented the current war in Iraq if only given the chance.

To be perfectly honest, I was too upset about the outcome of the election to have a rational conversation with either of them. I figured it was better in the long run to say nothing to them than to say something that would damage our relationship forever. Right now, politics is banned as dinner table conversation in our family.

being a US Marine , that has been to Iraq, and Afghan, Iraq again, Im actually disgusted by this thread topic. Its pathetic. Sorry. You give your opinion, I give mine. I wouldnt mind Bush being president till the day he was 6 ft under. Its sad Americans feel that way. Its also a great privledge that your even allowed to have a topic like that.
