From: Solario Galileo Yes, your *freedom* to force someone with an unpopular voice to have an avatar not of his choosing with the site owner's blessing and help. What's next? he is certainly welcome to choose his own custom avatar this is straw man stuff about him not having a choice on which avatar he selects i call bullshit

From: Kris Ritter well yes. but there's some you can trust and some that you most definitely can't. how do you make that distinction? do you know how many companies that you give credit card information aggregate your information, sell your information (mailing lists), or use actual important data for things you never imagined? some light hazing and trying to bring somebody into the community (kicking and screaming, yes) is not some major breach of trust... i picture was inserted next to thier name... thats the extent of it besides, most people (including me) have throw away emails and irrelevant personal info anyway you are grasping at straws here there is nothing untrustworthy and it was talked about publically for awhile before it was enforced no secret cloak and dagger spy stuff... just a forum

From: Kris Ritter But the admin might go into your personal account details and change stuff? why, cant they read your name? they have to have a pictorial reference to recognise you? what would happen if two people chose the same forum avatar? Confusion reigns! And if you don't want people accessing your personal details and changing stuff around, go somewhere else? I don't care where others go, not here selling a product. I like SC, I follow the pretty lenient rules there, and I don't let paranoia rule my life. If two people choose the same avatar that's fine. One person has the default avatar with one word substituted and that's fine too. I like people who are running competing sites, so I'm not going to say anything against them or their sites. I just feel more comfortable posting at SC because I've been there since April and made some very good friends through the forum. No more, no less.

From: Solario Galileo Yes, your *freedom* to force someone with an unpopular voice to have an avatar not of his choosing with the site owner's blessing and help. What's next? You still have the ability to choose your own avatar. Frankly this is just more of your twisted view of yourself as a victim. It's boring, Prokofy. Seriously. Boooooooooring.

i call bullshit You're wrong. It was not Mother/Fic.tional/Alex's rule. It was a running joke *Gabe's rule*. Non moderator forum members forced him to take one of their choosing. It's wrong. I will do my personal best to make sure that as many people as I can tell will know that the site's owner is not to be trusted.

From: Solario Galileo It has become steadily more prevalent. And your pal Mulch drew the SA comparison first.
I won't be going back there after this crap with the cool clique having the site owner go into someone's account and force an avatar on them. It's not about all these diversion tactics like censorship, moderation, my like or dislike for this forums or any other. Its about horrible administration. It's more *FIC* than even these forums. It is your option to stay away. I, for one, don't think your posts bring much to the table besides belittling other people and name calling. In a sense, your posting is very similar to some of Mulch's work, though much, much longer and without humor or a sense of self. You have certainly gotten your point across in those forums and you don't participate in anything besides raging against windmills, so your work is done anyway.

the funniest thing so far is that Prok is going to some cyber cafe and spending money to debate this in SL forums and not get inworld perma banned simply to not get a forum avatar priceless!

From: Mulch Ennui will you log into your main to do that? I don't know Hooch. maybe, maybe not. That's such a powerful *gotcha* on your part. You go girl! Listen all you people who think I am Prokofy... You're wrong. You couldn't possibly be more wrong. I realize that with narrow fields of view it's very difficult to believe that someone else might think you're running a crappy excuse for a forum over there but get over it. I am not Prokofy. Do you really think he would risk permaban in game in the last month of these forums by circumventing his forum ban? I don't.

From: Rose Karuna Yes - I agree. There are really two rules. Get an Avatar and No Spam. Simple enough. Anyone should be able to do it. It's all Alex asks. Exactly my feeling, Rose. And if Prok chooses to get a forum avatar, it can even say "Mulch is an infected cum bubble" and Mulch, Gabe and FIC would be happy. Come to Second Citizen and speak your mind without fear of being banned. A little rule like "Get a fucking avatar already" seems like a small price to pay.
