i assume your waiting a while before giving up cause on my machine, which is very similar to yours, but with better video and 2x as much ram i get nothing but a black screen for nearly 45 seconds, the whole thing takes maybe a min and a half to fully load (altho i usually bang the enter key to login before then) yours with under the required amount of ram useable, and a video card almost 1/5th as powerful might take a while SL is a monster program lol so wat do i do now |

grr.lol.im not giving up That’s the spirit…. I think your system is just below the threshold. An inexpensive graphics card upgrade my be all you need to get you in. Good Luck  _____________________
