I am so ashamed of myself. The people who have received my $L in exchange for SL content are ashamed as well. I wish that spending $L purchased from Lindex inworld was as good as adding to the SL economy.

I am such a waste of SL space. I am going to try to spend my few precious off days this holiday to figure out a way to contribute to SL in some meaningful way. I hope I am successful in this endeavour. If not, I will have to move on and see y'all again on the other side.

Wow a Nazi, huh? Super. Way to go. I wish I had the talent for loquacity that Mario does. Maybe then I would count for something in SL.

I think I will go to this Blue Note now. The Fonz has convinced me that it must be the place to be. Save me a seat!

I am not contributing to lag on that sim. I have no more loading textures than anyone else does on that sim. In all due respect I probably have the least amount of loading textures on that sim. So before passing judgement on my laggy items...maybe you should go take a look at the sim aka The Blue Note Jazz Club and Maxim Inc. Please bare in mind, When you see a new texture (not an SL texture) It will take a few moments to load. (Loading a texture and Lag are two different subjects all together.) Lag will not go away, Lag from loading a texture will. As of heavy scripts, I have no heavy scripts in my items. Most are simply just moving textures, MEANING, Once the texture is loaded it creates "0" Lag. As of my SO CALLED DIRTY MOUTH, When you have been setting up shop all day, (with the two owners of the Blue Note Club sitting right beside my land as I was doing this and just let me keep building without a single word), And when the Store was totally build, Then one of them comes over and said I have really nice stuff but "YOU NEED TO MOVE". What did they expect me to say....sure I have only spent 8 hours on this Shop let me just move and find another spot. When you spend countless hours looking for a place to set up and spend 8+ hours building a nice shop....To be told sarcasticly you need to move, you dont have the best of manners at this point.

Not to mention the past several days I have been flooded with a stream of nasty IMS, ALL by Patrons of the Blue Note and Members of the Blue Note Club. I have even been threatened that someone will put out an object on my land to Send All of my stuff back. They want to buy me out of the land to get me to move, at this point I think I probably will stay, because I have just as much of a right as they do.

I choose this spot because of the train in front of my shop...not because they had good dwell. Most of the time when I look at thier Dwell, its not very high. So they should be happy to have me there....I am bring people to the sim on a daily basis....NOT JUST SATURDAY NIGHT. Maybe, I am helping them out, Did they ever think of that?? The Blue Note's Dwell means absolutly nothing to me.

I have my own patrons that come to my store for several reasons. First, I have nice DJ Equipment that creates no lag and Second, They buy it because they can put it in thier Dance Clubs and It wont contribute to the lag that already exsists on thier sim. I was told this by many of my customers, because they replaced some of thier stuff because MY equipment helped reduce thier lag issues. Furthermore, I have been asked to make many items that would be a high lag generator for some of these clubs....I told them I wouldnt do it for the simple fact, I wouldnt help create more lag in SL.

SO before posting to this thread....Go to Tulip Tree and Check out the Sites in Question, The Blue Note and Maxim INC. Remember to allow yourself time to upload textures in both spots. Its that way ON every sim you go to in SL.

If you have any questions or concerns about Lag or switching textures, Feel Free to Contact a Linden, and Have them check out the lag for you yourself...and see what they tell you.

If you have any concerns about what makes Lag in your Dance Clubs or Homes, Please Feel Free to Contact me and I can Advise you on what can help you and the lag in your area. If I cannot help you, I have plenty of people that will be willing to join me in the fight for lag.

One last thing, We do not have Vendors that require a server (which creates lag).

So now that we have covered all areas of my shop and what creates lag, Lets see what the next issue will be with my shop. First it was lag, then when the lindens checked it, they turned to the next thing...flashy lights that was an eyesore, that were removed. So what will it be next? Everyday its something new.... Cant wait to see what it will be next

Trickey and I are simply trying to get our side of the story out also. Its unfair to us and all the people that are not associated with this, not to know the truth of what is going on. Granted its our word against thiers...but as you can tell from my post, I was more than willing to come to an agreement with them. Now, simply from what I can tell, They just assume that this sim belongs to them and that noone is to thier liking and everything that should be placed on that sim should be cleared through them. If this is what they want.....Simply, why don't they just go buy a sim so that noone can build anything next to them??

I would bet money, that others have been griefed by them and given up an moved on too a new place just not to have to deal with this kind of griefing. I am a strong person and so is my hubby. So this being said, Now you want the thread removed because we have a chance to get our side of the story out??

The truth be known, I am glad it went to the forums...because now all can see this and see what is going on. Maybe we can actually get some people on this forum that have had the same problem with these people. Wouldn't that just make everyones day I know it would make mine.

I just popped over to the site of the Blue Note and unless they've managed to amicably sort everything out in the past minute or two, I can't see what the fuss is about. You can't even see the shop from the club unless you're in the air, there are trees in the way. There are a load of flashing and spinning things in the shop but they're, well, in the shop, they don't stick out or up.

I wish I had that sort of "problem" in my home area.

hmmm id realy like this post to stay. in fact this was not an attack agenst you untill I posted that ppl should go look.. befor posting so this post backfire's in youre face you want it to be deleated.. figure's if this post id deleated ill just start a new one for all of us ppl in SL that got pushed around by ppl like you .if i was asked nicly id have felt bad and moved but when insulted and thretend i felt it best to stay. im not scard and run like some of the ppl im sure you scard off .since i posted asking ppl to come take a look see 10 ppl been thrue this place wondering what the problem was and 3 of them even got a lot of my stuff thay loved it and couldent beleave that thay could have this kind of stuff with so little lagg

I almost wanted to ignore this post as it deserves no response... but I'd much rather chime in and say that Naydee is an incredibly talented builder, a creative entrepreneur, a gracious hostess, and a kind human being. She has built something that deserves respect -- some of that rich content people are looking for. The Blue Note is a unique spot with amazing atmosphere and it has developed a very loyal -- and growing -- following.

This is a sad situation that opens some real issues for all to look at, hopefully with a serious (and not vitriolic) dialog: zoning? lag? sim size? neighborliness?

I don't get upset often in the forums, I'm pretty laid back..but I must speak my mind on your snarky opinion. Excuse the hell out of me but I have a job irl, I do not need one here. The closest thing I have to a job in SL is doing landscaping for an apartment group, mainly because I LIKE to do it. I want to make SL pretty for people. It gives me some spending money and I don't have to deal with any customer service issues. I have enough job stress irl.

If I choose to buy $L to support others and enjoy the items I buy, how am I a waste of space? Seems there would be no so called economy if people didn't buy things. I guess in your messed up little world people are just supposed to make things and only people who have a business can buy, pulease. LMAO These are the poeple that shop in the vendor stores to create revenue flow. These are the people that rent the houses that people build. These are the people that come to your clubs and tip your staff and pay into games and such. What the hell are you doing to "add to the economy"

Those Lindens bought are being spent on content. How does that not add to the economy? I am really floored at this attitude. I had heard some people felt this way, but hadn't encountered it first hand.

I choose to create and run a store, but that makes me no better than friends who choose to explore and interact and (bless their hearts) SHOP! I suggest everyone who feels that people who purchase lindens are useless, mark their stores accordingly. We wouldn't the bums polluting your shops with their presence, breathing your virtual air or god forbid wasting your precious time with the terrible cha-ching of sales.

It is my sincere hope that the Blue Note survives this mess, and that Miss Naydee is able to continue to delight her guests with her warmth, charm, and music taste.

No visual mess, certainly, as far as I can see, and the sim seemed to be running perfectly well.

This post was written by Trickey... please note the offensiveness and grammar. The original letter written by Trickey trying to state his case was obviously written by Mikayla, his 9 month pregnant wife who he literally woke out of a dead sleep to come and *deal* with me. Trickey will not deal with this. He is making Mikayla do all the dirty work and she is PG .. for cripe sake. I have only spoken with Trickey ONCE.... he was unbelievably rude and would not deal with me and has not spoken to me. Mikayla, his poor stressed wife is the only one who is willing to talk, compromise or whatever.

I am going to attempt to FINISH this thread. The situation was not a one of a kind either. YES, Trickey is lying about wanting to build his shop because of the train that runs in front of it (that was so dumb of a remark it wasnt even funny) ... he agreed with the friend of mine who has tried to mediate with him ... that he knew about my traffic .. and that it was the only place in Tuliptree that generated ANY traffic.. which is why he put his store where he did.

Here are the facts.

A) he has a business and so do I
B) We both have land and pay for it.
C) it still sucks ... but there really isnt anything for me to about it but move.

It was disingenuous to suggest that people visit this location now to get a sense for what has transpired over the last week. Mikayla has obviously had some success in calming her husband down and getting him to remove the most obnoxious elements from the exterior of his store. However, we remain dubious as to the intentions of her husband as he has threatened to introduce lag enducing elements - only during events - in an effort to create problems for the Blue Note.

It is clear that this person's predatory business model and threats have driven Naydee to want to move from this location. And for that I am very sorry. However, I am confident that the Blue Note, and Naydee, will survive and continue to bless the community in the future.

I'd like to agree with Blueman that this thread be locked. It serves no purpose and if anything else needs to be said between these parties, it should be said in-world.

Thank you to all of those who have supported the Blue Note through this difficult time.

after reading this thread I went to the Blue Note...... Outstanding place, very relaxing and a very easy atmosphere. I added it to my Picks before I left... good job on it, it is a special place and I will return often

And what am I meant to believe? Your version? His and her version? Given that I don't know any of you, the only independent source I have is visiting the place, and from doing that it doesn't look like anything at all problematic. Perhaps if you have some screenshots or videos that are worse I might change my mind, but I have no experience of any party here so I'm not going to take either word on trust, I'm afraid.

Ok, sorry, back to the... whatever is going on.

I think that all that needs to be said has been said. This is getting us nowhere. Sometimes agreements cannot be achieved. This is one of those cases I am afraid. I think the only thing that can be done is to visit the sim and both of the properties, and Make a decision for yourself.

I refuse to keep hashing this out over and over. We have told our side and you have told your side. We are at a standstill. I guess at this point you let sleeping dogs lie.
