Do any of the project organizers feel like posting lessons learned? It's remarkable how much interest this project generated, and I had a sense that the organizers were putting in long hours working out a detailed system. Then it all evaporated.... What happened?
Perhaps there's some useful information here for would-be organizers of large scale projects. _____________________

Several things.
A few of the people helping to make it were couples and they broke up, both parties turned their back on it, then we had a lack of clear direction, and very little in regards to teamwork. All I can say is be a strong teamleader, or find one and put your efforts into keeping them, and let them speak for you... when everyone does their own thing, often times they'll just work on it when bored or not at all. |
