Heh we gave out a limited number of Luskwood T-shirts. Bub almost got naked right then and there to put it on when I gave one to him --- but, from what I hear, that's not unsual. Good thing I wasn't handing out pants. I still have Luskwood buttons n' stickers left if anyone wants them but, heh... In any case, I'd say probably 70 suprisingly-exceedingly-positive face to face meetups and maybe two negatives. I had NO idea what to expect... Nobody was a disappointment on this end, and after getting over the nervousness it was probably one of the most positive things I've been to and been part of in a long time. I hate doing these lists, because I always forget people but: ---- Flipper, you have amazing pants. They are a shining beacon of hope. Cubey, you're an SL cultural icon and you should talk more and be more proud. Trinity, Nala, I only wish I could have 'enjoyed adult beverages' with you guys. Khamon, Travis, you're real stand up guys with good community input and I want to keep dialogues going with you guys. Beatfox, you're famous. And talented. Short, but famous and talented. Evangeline: You aren't NEARLY that fat. What's up with that? Jamie Wombat: Bono is a celebrity. Charo is a celebrity. Michi Lumin is not a celebrity. Don't be afraid to talk to me in world.  Zirnitra, Grendel, thanks for not griefing me ( ) and the stuff you guys are doing in Maya is bomb. Rose Karuna: I don't know you much from inworld, but you had a LOT of insight in the conversation we had, enough to be memorable. Interesting, when you meet people RL at a SL convention and then are compelled to meet them SL. Bub, Vektor, Pathfinder, Kona, Robin, Philip, Adam, Daniel, Aura, Adam, Zero, Kelly: Cool as hell to meet you all, you're all real real. Zero: Wish we got to play icehouse. Come to Lusk sometime and we will! Kona, you were so easy to talk to that you should like record your own relaxation tapes about graphics code, that nerds can play when they go to bed. Aura: Quiet but, you're so smart that you should rent your time out by the computation unit. Adam: Thanks for the vote of confidence and we will keep hanging in there. Notably Vektor and Bub - I have this strange urge to want to go on some wilderness expedition with you two where we can wrestle bears and make rafts out of dead trees and survive on lichens and grasses. I'm not sure why. But I hear Bub causes strange urges. Get back to me on this. Except for Cube. I'll see you at the flagpole at 3:15 after gym class. You better be wearing a cup, because I'll be wearing my steel-toes. |
