Uhm, no, she's bringing the criminal activities of a person exposure and publicity, which will lead to their arrest and prosecution for threats, sexual harassment, and such. Instigating a witch hunt, more like. Seriously, the act in question is so vile and would require a seriously disturbed individual to perform... so to see someone immediately jump to conclusion and so lightly point fingers at people with the "i think X did it because they had argument... was it you X? was it you?" shrill... this is quite irresponsible thing to do. :/ |

Death and rape threats from members is absolutely unacceptable regardless of where they take place and they have an obligation to see that this person is removed from the community. If I have to choose between freedom and security, I choose freedom. The forums over at forums.secondcitizen.com are an ecclectic uberjoy and want them to stay that way. _____________________

Both. Second Citizen keeps its liberal moderation policies and helps authorities and the Lindens punish and remove this person. Death and rape threats are not acceptable in this community. I meant that the threats were made to a member of our SL community (MadZag) and that we as other members of that community should not tolerate it. In my opinion it is one step too far. I agree with you completely in regards to third-party forums. Still, threatening someone's life is going way too far. I think we should find out who this person is and share it with the world/authorities. Don't you think accusing someone that had nothing to do with and no knowledge about it is one step too far? You are just as guilty as the person that made the threats. _____________________
