" we haven't made saying naughty things illegal yet." I don't believe that is entirely true. -------
Also - what evidence do the the folks like me discussing this matter have to suggest that the OP's claims have any truth to them or that they present a complete and unbiased picture of what really happened? Not that they are implausible, unfortunately, but plausibility does not equal truthicity.

From: Foolish Frost If [truthicity is] not a word, it should be. Unfortunately, no, but there is "veracity" (from the Latin "veritas", or truth), if you want to hang onto the "-city" ending.

I'm a lawer in Italy and Romany (if you want visit my Office, come in Rome i will take you my adress!), my boy, and i know very well laws so please stop to play whith me. If you want discuss about laws go to College, begin a graduate like me and from 5 years return here and maybe you will be able to speak about laws whith me! Being a judge in Italy myself, I can assure you that my judgement is always in favor of the person with the most expensive lawyers and who grease my paws the most generously... see, I can pretend to be anything on these forums too, just like in SL..

To the original poster - the word in English is "racist", not "razist", "c" not "z". Since it appears you may have reason to use the word with some frequency it would behoove you to learn to spell it correctly. Also, harassing people about being lesbians is not a demonstration of racism, it's a demonstration of what is commonly called homophobia. Section 1 of the Community Standards states"The use of derogatory or demeaning language or images in reference to another Resident's race, ethnicity, gender, religion, or sexual orientation is never allowed in Second Life." So, if folks come and shoot you and the other people in your space, and violate this speech and imagery rule in the same time period, don't just file one PvP report. File separate reports for each rule which is violated. If the offenders make derogatory comments about your race, file a report for derogatory race statements. If they also make derogatory comments about your sexual orientation, file a separate report about that. Try to figure out each distinct instance of violation of each rule, and file a separate report for each distinct violation of each rule. It can be difficult at times to tell when an instance meriting a distinct report stops and start; for example, if someone pushes you repeatedly with a scripted machine gun style push weapon, you don't want to file a thousand reports for each use of llPushObject. However, if they stop for a while, say a half hour, and you get to return to doing what your would have being doing in the absence of the troublemaking activity, and they come back and start again, then file a separate report for the new violation. The reason I say to file distinct reports for distinct acts of abuse has to do with the way the abuse response system has been said to work - it uses a point system, points being added for each offense, with a time bias, and with an escalating sequence of responses, that sequence being informal warning, formal warning, suspension, and account closure. You don't want to file so many reports that it seems like you've gone off the deep end or are over-reacting, but you also don't want to too few reports. Creating some boilerplate, pre-made, abuse reports seems like a good idea to me if one is the target of frequent attacks of a highly similar nature. For example, if one is being plagued with derogatory comments about sexual orientation, create some text files, made easily accessible, which might read something like: "FirstName LastName said "???", which violates Section 1 of the Community Standards, "The use of derogatory or demeaning language or images in reference to another Resident's [...] sexual orientation is never allowed in Second Life." When the time comes to file an abuse report, you just open the pre-made abuse report in Notepad or whatever, copy the text, paste it into the Abuse Report dialog, change the name, copy and paste the offending comments from the SL chat history, add the exact time the offending comments were made, then file the report. Being well prepared can cut down the time and effort required to file abuse reports. I put the offenders name at the beginning of the summary, following by an extremely concise description of the offense, such as "Firstname Lastname - derogatory sexual orientation comment". You don't get much space in the summary, so you have to distill it to the absolute essential. In the details, I start out with a quote of the summary, because some of the responses one get in email quote the Details section but not the Summary, so it's nice to have the summary show in the email from the abuse department. Then quotes of the chat history, to conserve space you may want to delete irrelevant comments, but never edit the lines that show the offender's comments or the other relevant comments made by others. The tone of the abuse report should be calm and dispassionate. No ALL CAPS, no exclamation marks!!!!!!!, no death threats ("These razist scum must die!!!" , no name calling. In your abuse report you want to convey that you are a calm, rational, sober person who is going through the considerable tedium of filing a report because the Community Standards states: "Residents should report violations of the Community Standards using the Abuse Reporter tool located under the Help menu in the in-world tool bar.", and since you have witnessed a violation, your are filing a report, exactly as the Community Standards say we should all do when we see a violation, and that you are just someone having trouble using the program for its intended use and want the company to provide the help with doing so that it claims to offer.
