From: Jillian Callahan Or, perhaps Stratics has been around long enough and pushed long enough that if it isn't rolling by now... it never will be. Thats my feeling as well poppet, and sadly about a few other hopeful forums as well. Ah well, y'know though, my hyping of uni-verse rekindled my interest in it so yay for last posts to the forums.. or something.

From: Jillian Callahan Or, perhaps Stratics has been around long enough and pushed long enough that if it isn't rolling by now... it never will be. Not really. We just haven't pushed before. Setting up a forum is easy - an hour or 2 with proprietory software, a quick domain naim registration, solved. Creating a community - which is Stratics Second Life's aim - takes a while. We needed staff, who needed training. We needed an in-world presence, which I've been building. If you come across a forum site with one post, from the owner saying "Hello, please post" and that's it, you won't stay around long. However, if you come across a forum where there are things going on, they look professional, and it's not hosted on Geocities, then there's a good chance you might stay and even participate. Stratics isn't a "pop up one day and disappear the next" site on a restricted bandwith freebie hosting package. It's a professional site, recognised as a world leader in its field, and we aim to give you the best service we can. All we ask is that you give us a chance to show you. We are also listening to feedback from you - the people we want to visit us. Many of you have commented about the "censor filter" which stops offensive language being posted (which is actually a Stratics-wide policy). As I was posting this reply, the site manager (Trenton Campbell - who is also Teresk, the Stratics Network Forum Programmer) Yahoo'd me that, to let me know he has approval from management for special dispensation on the SL forums, to make this a user controlled option to be turned on and off, rather than a decision made for you - due to the unique status of Second Life on the Stratics forums. This was following a discussion yesterday between me and him. Our programming team are working hard to have this enabled in around a week. I'd say watch this space for further details, but we won't have the opportunity here then. So you'll have to visit http://sl.stratics.com instead! Lewis

But then again, as you've made your mind up probably without even looking again there's really no point wasting my breath talking to you trying to show you that you are about as far from the truth as you can get. From: Lewis Nerd Totally completely and utterly wrong. How can I be wrong when what counts in this matter is my opinion? It is my choice to decide if that pathetic peice of crap called Stratics was somwhere I'd choose to post - not yours. Get that? Lewis Nerd doesn't get to be right on this. Lewis Nerd's assetion means nothing. From: Lewis Nerd But then again, as you've made your mind up probably without even looking again there's really no point wasting my breath talking to you trying to show you that you are about as far from the truth as you can get. I looked, what I saw was not worth my time. Get over it.

Despite your obvious bitter attitude and badmouthing of something you know nothing about, you are still welcome to join us. Lewis

From: Jillian Callahan ARed for a personal attack. You confuse the truth with a personal attack. If you can't hold your own in a discussion, then you really shouldn't start attacking another person if you can't handle being put in your place. Linden Lab have far more important things to deal with right now, I'm really quite sure your false AR isn't high on their list of priorities. Lewis
