Morning all, interesting discussion to say the least.

Ellie, perhaps your best bet is to wait and let the mentioned subsections of this forum close before considering a move away. Last I heard, Content at least is staying for the near future (I had confirmed this /w Robin), and probably Classifieds. Also, if these forums fully close, I am sure there are plans in place to at least save the Content sections before that happens.

Though I understand your list of requrements (and agree with most), Point #4 - age restriction - could be an issue. I still run across new members who are quite helpful and/or nice, though I admit they're rare.

I personally have no major need for any more external forum linkage. Besides, if I do consider being deeply involved with other SL fora I will register with my RL/Uru ID and not my SL one (for consistency; I am active in four 'core' Uru forums atm - all of them with differing focus - and watch another 3-4 at times). I have already done this with the LibSL one, and I already checked with a couple other board managers to confirm they're OK with that.
