Think of the time it took to develop it. I mean... the decision of colors... not easy to choose a color over others. the way it ends, the edges and the dedication. yes it is two prims, and you all think, blah! two prims for all that money? I know is funny lol, but we artists see it in a different way. You would have to really like art to understand. Or understand art to like it. Artist, have a special meaning to the art they create. I am an artist that does scupture, painting, ect. I also have a bachelor degree in fine arts, so when I studied all these weird scultures and paintings, I couldn't understand why people do that. However, when you get in dept of a project you do. Althought, to tell you the truth, I dont think my art will be only two prims, but I like more complicated art designs and sculptures. But each artist is different. I am sure, someone with artistic eyes, will find the piece a truly work or art. Especially if this sculptor makes it big in SL and famous. *smile*

Lets see...effort put in that art work ... 2min tops.
Colors...plain colors (non-textured)
Texturing would have made it a bit more 'original' ...since it's harder to copy textures then the actual build.

It doesn't have an animated texture, or rotate, therefore it is not art.

From: Lorelei Patel Yeah, gonna sell it for a Moses I knew it would pay off reading this far into this thread. EDIT: Also --- From: Daaneth Kivioq I am amused, but some idiot will likely buy it. Ah well, capitalism at work. Can't blame the guy for trying.
A friend of mine sold a tumbleweed on E-Bay for 40$ US. The problem then arose of figuring out how to pack it for shipping so it would arrive in reasonable condition. Ended up building a masonite box to put the tumbleweed in. Spent 25$ US on shipping. @#$%, I'd buy one. Imagine the posibilities. Petrify that bad boy and have it hiding in a corner. When things start to get uncomfortable or you end up in a moment of awkward silence - kick it across the floor.

It made me smile, so I bought it.
I'm planning on giving it a good home in the trash bin, but the smile was worth the $1999.

This potato peeling is so bad it could only of come from the Kraft candy kitchens of Julian Schnabel, it can only mean one thing Schnabel has hired someone to be him on SL!

Cool Art, Very Cool Art The spiral permeates our realm and unifies us as fellow travelers. From the microscopic to the infinite heavens, manifesting itself as our DNA molecule, defining the contours of our home galaxy the Milky Way, to the miraculous inner workings of the Chambered Nautilus. Yes, to me this simple two prim object is art, speaking volumes of who we are, and where we live. Perhaps, where we are going. I like it!
