Age Play should NOT be banned

What about a 35 year old woman playing a 7 year old girl? Is that better or worse?

(edit: and I don't mean sexual age play - just playin a kid overall)

Edit: Well in all honesty, it's not something I care so much that I'm going to yell at anyone that does it. But I will probably make fun of them behind their back. To be fair though, I do that to most of the "different" groups in SL. Vore, gor, furry, ageplay, snuff, watersports {no, it's not a jet skii maker}, herm, etc.

I have not gotten it... Guess I'm living amongst the "good" people shielding me from rubbish...

But if I were to get one, I'd question the person and discuss it to see if the even understand what it is about and the consequences it may have. If they do, and it's about condemning (age)roleplayers, then the will get kicked out of my circle of people I would like to know.

I am a child avatar. My Player is an adult, and also plays my 'Mommy' in SL - Ceera Kitsune.

I exist as an SL avatar not for any sort of 'sex play', but because my SL 'Mommy' has a loving relationship with her SL mate, and because the inevitable consequence of their intimacy as a couple will most likely at some point result in a child being born. That child is/will be me. (Or if we decide not to go through with 'having a child' together, Reisuki will appear as a friend, and start as a 18 year old female Kitsune.)

Technically, Reisuki hasn't even been concieved yet. The avatar had to be made prior to when we were willing to RP that scenario, in order to nail down the same surname for this child that her SL parents have. Chalk one up for SL not allowing people to change last names to match their mates or their other family members.

Right now, when I do log on as Reisuki, I'm in my 'baby Kitsune' form - a 'tiny' avatar that is a two-tailed white fox in a cute pink pinafore dress. I'm barely over half a meter tall. This is the form I'll have for a while after I am 'born'. She runs around, tries not to get kicked or stepped on, and is generally just a cheerful, friendly little kid. Until I got dumped out of Help Island by a server crash, I was even acting is something of a greeter there, on an unofficial basis.

For later use, I have set up a 'pre-teen Kitsune' avatar, using one of Jakkal's Werehouse's lovely 'Fox Kit' avatars. That form will look somewhere between 10 and 16 years of age, and is about 4 feet tall. Between the Baby form and this one, we'll RP that I went to another plane of reality and went to boarding school...

Until the point that Reisuki is pretty much being RP'd as having matured to 'legal age', she won't be having sex with anyone. She'll simply be 'part of the family', for our roleplaying as a family group.

I see no problem at all with playing a child avatar. If anything, I think it is rather silly that with all the sex that happens in SL, we don't see more couples experiencing the consequences of their sex play, and starting families.

Playing a kid isn't necessarily about sexual kinks. And even if it is, I see no problem with that as long as both real people doing the roleplay are actually adults. People RP with each other as if they were younger than they really are in reality quite frequently. "Schoolgirl" and "Cheerleader" outfits, and all that. But it's still two ADULTS doing the roleplay.

Personally, I never saw any appeal in grown people wanting to be babies and have diapers changed. Ugh... I've been a parent in RL, and have changed my share of real diapers, and I assure you there is nothing 'fun' about it. It's merely a necessary part of caring for an infant. I don't plan to ever RP anyone having to change Reisuki's diaper.

Um I am SO gonna derail this thread but I have to say something about this comment.

Years ago when my kids were smaller and we had just purchased our first computer I was looking for Yahoo chat rooms that I might find interesting or relevant. Well I happened upon one called 'diapers something or other' and naturally thought, kewl will talk to more mommys like me....err boy was I wrong *cough*

And just to add, I spent an hour chatting w/ folks in there and it was a funny eye opening experience.

I dated a guy who three months into the relationship confessed he has a big fetish for dressing his BF in diapers.

Needless to say we're no longer together.

LOL, but in all fairness when exactly DO you mention something of that sort? The first date? The fifth? 3 months in? Ahhh too funny!

I would've preferred before the first date so I could've cancelled and met someone cuter.

How's about everyone look to living their own life and not be so all fired concerned about what others are doing?
