im sorry, i was just thinking that if it was intentional it will be found out and someone will pay, being really mad about it isnt going to make it go way. lets just be nice to the people who are trying to fix the problem and not play the blame game, the best thing is a happy ending, not a public eviceration. lets be nice, k? they are trying

if i made a mistake i would want everyone to be nice to me, if he pooched himself, the admins will see to it that it never happens again, just have patience. sometimes personal anger and ill will can be overwhelming, just breath - Adira Mistakes happen and thats understandable. BUT when the following conditions are true you must look at it differently: 1) Person was in a group that harasses and griefs others 2) Person was seen griefing others last night 3) Person was working on an object with the word "grief" in its name Sure it may have been a mistake. But assuming it was a mistake and it didnt happen, would this person be in game now griefing others? Are we to say to this person "Its cool. I hope that grief object stays contained to only harassing small groups from now on. Ok?" |

The creator must have had help to bring down so many sims so fast. This is not say it was not a group, just that one should not be misled by the rapid, widespread action into thinking it has to be a group. _____________________

What a load of crap! So obviously not an accident. In fact, we were attacked in weber and did abuse report about a week or two ago and the profile of the person said they were out to bring SL down. (Lex Fluffball) This person, of course, cancelled account by the time the abuse report was filed and Im sure signed up for a free one. Newbie, my ass.
I want to know what Linden does with abuse reports of this nature?? When people are so blatently out to attack and have alts and get new accounts at the drop of a hat, what is done?? Second life provides us the opportunity to create a world of our own, it makes me ill to see the best some people can come up with is how to destroy it and be a nuisance to others. Okay, I'm new to SL (See tiny post count) but even I know this wasn't an accident.
"Greifball RC3" etc etc? Come on, if you're going to try to claim innocence after, have a brainstem beforehand. (though most hackers/griefers/idiots/bullies/assmunches don't have a brainstem to begin with as there is no gain in all this but the fact of being a turd) ~Maybe~ all the W-Hats are not like this. Do you really think anyone is going to believe that after this? The people in SL are not stupid, my friend. They figure things out quite quickly and pass it on to those who didn't see, or understand it as fast. This was GRIEFING. Period. And I hope LL finds the one who set it off and prosicutes them to the fullest extent of the law. And if you are just out to have fun and in the W-Hat group, I HIGHLY suggest you drop that group ASAP when you can log in again. It's one thing to be a practical joker, but quite another to be an asshole. |

This was my first time ever "playing" SL. I messed around with my costume and made some coolish lookin ninja clothes, found me a couple swords, strapped'm on, and took to the skies to find me some new hair. And than the world stood still.
Naturally I thought it was lag just like any other online game/sim. Eventually my confused fingers lead me here. In my gaming experience, something like this is unheard of. Isn't there any kind of safe-guard to prevent things like this? Will those responsible be banned? I'm not freaking out like some people, but I was having a decent time, and this Griefball stuff is pretty damned lame. |
