We're supposed to believe an object just happened to accidentally get named "GriefShphere", just happened to accidentally fall off a truck, and then just happened to accidentally kill the entire grid? We're also supposed to believe that the responsible script was written by accident? And that the people who witnessed this supposed newbie perfecting his craft in a sandbox the the other day were really witnessing behavior that just happened to accidentally appear like someone designing a bomb? Dude, do yourself a favor, dissolve the group, dissociate yourself entirely from any connection with ol griefshphere boy, and walk away while you still can. You do realize this amounts to a DoS attack, which could very well land your pal in jail, right? Somehow, I don't think the judge will quite buy "But I didn't mean to write a program designed to kill a network of over 1000 servers. Really, I didn't." _____________________

Given the way this happened it's my opinion the attack was coordinated by more than a few perpetrators. The creator must have had help to bring down so many sims so fast. This is compounded by the rumours of the creators SL rezdate being 9/11. The whole thing was obviously carefully planned and executed. The idea that this was an accident is preposterous!

How nice it is that we have individuals that think that making negative items in SL is so much fun. Then supposedly "oops" it just happens to kill everything.
You should be charged all the money that you and your cost each and every one of us with your supposed "oops" mistakes. Pray for the day when the scripters who like to grief others are thrown in some online jail and left there to rott. Yes just an accident, next time name your accident "fun loving crash toy"! |

ok here is how isee it if you are apologising for the one who released this object then you were perfectly well aware of what it was going to do. And the fact that you are apologising instead of him just lets the rest of us know that is wasnt an accident and it was intentional. So the next time you or anyone else thinks that aplogising after the fact makes things ok . hmmmmmmm I have heard of someone accidentally making a sim crashing weapon playing around but come on accidentally making a self replicating sphere and crashing every sim in SL?? Please I hope he goes to jail and makes Bubba a good wife for this one hehehe oh by the way how much for that bridge??
