Unless someone does something like sabotage the software/hardware, or harass someone over a long period of time, I don't see what the big deal is at all. But it's stupid for people to play "professional victim" and use the SL law enforcement system as their bully pulpit... then return to their virtual house full of bestiality and child pornography. I don't take anyone's "grief" seriously if they're willing to engage in a subculture that eroticizes children or animals. That's not to say everyone that dresses like a furry or a baby does those things, but you know as well as I do that they are incredibly widespread through SLand. You would think one subversive subculture could respect another subversive subculture, but I guess you just can't subvert the subverters.

So you know exactly who abuse reported you and that they play out their own little freaky selves or are you just generalizing that everyone in SL has some sort of freak going on? If we wanted to be like certain Professional Victims™ are we'd call in some authorities to take a gander at all the interesting things going on in the Linden Servers or some other such method to try and "pressure" LL to get these groups permanently removed/outlawed. For the moment, I'm satisfied simply mocking them.

And still nothing has been done about this. Our group land owner has received an e-mail saying he is "on review for a permanent ban from SL", which he can't do anything about because he is currently in Iraq. This guy had a clean rap sheet before and is now catching shit because there were mature words copied from other parcel descriptions in our mature parcel description.

The officer selling not-trademarked stuff is still banned and missing from the search dialog, and LL seem pretty satisfied leaving his account in limbo like this even though he calls them almost every day asking what is going on with the account.

LL aren't cleaning up SL, they're out to get the Satyr folk and are starting with the highest ranked officers in an attempt to just steal our land back from us and get rid of the group completely.

Our group land owner has received an e-mail saying he is "on review for a permanent ban from SL", which he can't do anything about because he is currently in Iraq. This guy had a clean rap sheet before and is now catching shit because there were mature words copied from other parcel descriptions in our mature parcel description. The officer selling not-trademarked stuff is still banned and missing from the search dialog, and LL seem pretty satisfied leaving his account in limbo like this even though he calls them almost every day asking what is going on with the account. LL aren't cleaning up SL, they're out to get the Satyr folk and are starting with the highest ranked officers in an attempt to just steal our land back from us and get rid of the group completely.
