From: Lupus Delacroix You're not even a fun troll, can't you like use your powers to invoke some comparison to Nazi's or at least some of the usual sputter tongued crazyness? All your doing is starting a "I know you are but what am I" thread and this makes Lupus bored i just dont appreciate all the grief your kind gives the Lindens call me a troll all you want but you are the ones who are coming into someones house and telling them how to decorate give them a break, they are building something that you are using talk about biting the hand that feeds you ingrate!

From: Chance Abattoir The new photo system is outrageously awesome. One time, I speared a narwhal off the coast of a defunct fishing village while riding a jet ski and it wasn't nearly as awesome as the new photosystem. The freezing of time gives me a real "Captain N" throwback, but he could only do it once per episode while fighting Mother Brain whereas we can do it over and over!!! It also doesn't give us any real advantages because he could actually still see what was going on when he froze time, while it blinds us, but who cares because it still looks friggin stupendous! Tonight, when I go to sleep, I'm going to be dreaming about freezing my dreams and moving little sliders around. Normally my dreams lag, but now they'll actually seem faster because of the frozen image occluding my view. I will still be able to hear what's going on around me in my dream, but I won't be able to see the lag. It's friggin genius! I'll say, "Thank you Mother Brain, thank you for this awesome display of ultimate awesomeness that allows me to travel around while missing the sights!" The only crappy part is that I won't be able to email anyone my snapshots because it's only a dream. But that's where Second Life succeeds over my deepest moments of sleep! AWESOME! Bravo! QFE

*ignores the Hooch* The one feature of the forums that works and works well I really like the bullet time 'feature', even though we are now in more of a movie mode than a snapshot! I guess being able to spin the camera around in a single moment is a great thing, even though I have NO clue what I'd do with it. What's good for the Matrix has gotta be great for Second Life! I recommend putting it under a new heading, "SL Movie Magic Center" and let us have the quick and dirty snapshot system in the button bar. Oh... I just had an evil use for the new snapshot system.. which makes me very glad that I usually put shorts on under my skirts! The flash, if it would only blind the other person instead of me, would be a great new tool for self-defense! Just imagine the possibilities of that one! I'd love the peel-away more if it only happened when I discarded the image. You know, kinda like wadding it up and tossing it out.

From: Osgeld Barmy i have my issues with it, i dont need a flash or a swipe away, dont really need the freeze frame all of the stinking time the UI for it is totally bonked i need more options to control it, the new stuff in the window is great i can see many uses for it , but the flashy crap, which will only last a cupple few weeks before noone will even pay attention to this "awesome fps killing waste of time" kinda bites on me im still waiting for html inworld (rather have a client browser vs on a prim but thats another thread) llTeleportAgent, numerous bug fixes (yea the list just got a lot longer) improved scripting functions (UI sprites basic dialog function expansion ect) MONO and the joke of all time ... Havoc 2 none of that will be done anytime soon as we continue to get fading zooming pie menus, borked up snapshot fluff (again i like the new window) tearable menus (but yet no hot key for camera controls) on and on and on... good job linden X who made up the new snapshot options bah to linden X who made all the ui fluff and the rest of the team for not delevering on anything thats "been on the list" for a really long time What is a tearable menu? coco

From: Cocoanut Cookie What is a tearable menu? coco You may have noticed a double line at teh top of some (all?) menus recently. You can click and drag it to anywhere on the screen and it will stay. This feature has also been in MS Office since 2000 I think. Of course, it is utterly useless. The only time I have ever used it in Office is when customising the user interface to change labels or add macros. It was only really needed there because teh interface for menu customisation sucked in Office. Since this isn't something you can do in SL anyway (making semi-permanent interface changes), it is of no use for me. Your mileage may vary.

I don't have to remember to either take off my HUD's or take them off in view before I take a picture. THAT makes me extremely happy.

I would just like to say this now snapshot "tool" is so freaking awesometastic ( I believe is the word of the moment) that I can't actually take a series of quick snapshots to truly savor an action moment, instead I can get one crapy one and tell them to do it again do it again do it again do it again, you get the idea....MAN THATS GREAT, cause one, people really do it again....and TWO, its so freaking awesometastic its like being a male puppy and just awaking in a lil kenel with your nuts chopped off, woooohoooo yeah baby lets keep making it more difficult

I can honestly say with no hesitation that i would rather blindfold myself and bob for turds than ever take another snapshot in SL again. No offense meant to those who like it, but I for one hate it with ever fiber of my soul. I'll never take another snapshot again. It is the most un-user-friendly adaptation of a program I have ever had the misfortune of using since I first set eyes upon Poser. If cameras were like this IRL, they would be outlawed and there would be enacted an 11th commandment and a 28th amendment. "Thou shall not useth or buyeth cameras with the new snapshot functionality or damn thine to burning hell for all eternity." The effecacy of this new "feature" is such that it makes me violently ill and weep for it's visionary. It's tripe. It blows. It stinks like milk spilt on sheets after a drought. Expressions involving my tender bits and a photograph of Mother Theresa could only begin to express my utter disdain and remorse for this addition...
But if you like it... then I spose I like it...

I like the new feature where my friends cant see me half the time.
Very usefull for getting work done - and saves me from ignoring them.
BTW - the SL Logo stands for 'talk to the hand... bitch'.
Oh and just because I haven't done this for a while:
Cunt.
