Not for me it doesn't. My keyboard doesn't HAVE a "`" key (I did that with c+p). Instead, I have a funky key that let's me switch between English letters and 日本の文字. For me, there is no keyboard shortcut. Ctrl + Print Scrn But as for the snapshot options, cool stuff. |

i have my issues with it, i dont need a flash or a swipe away, dont really need the freeze frame all of the stinking time the UI for it is totally bonked
i need more options to control it, the new stuff in the window is great i can see many uses for it , but the flashy crap, which will only last a cupple few weeks before noone will even pay attention to this "awesome fps killing waste of time" kinda bites on me im still waiting for html inworld (rather have a client browser vs on a prim but thats another thread) llTeleportAgent, numerous bug fixes (yea the list just got a lot longer) improved scripting functions (UI sprites basic dialog function expansion ect) MONO and the joke of all time ... Havoc 2 none of that will be done anytime soon as we continue to get fading zooming pie menus, borked up snapshot fluff (again i like the new window) tearable menus (but yet no hot key for camera controls) on and on and on... good job linden X who made up the new snapshot options bah to linden X who made all the ui fluff and the rest of the team for not delevering on anything thats "been on the list" for a really long time |

You know the new Map thing is cool too. All that wonderful WHITE SPACE! Whoohoo! It's like having lots of blank white paper upon which you can wipe your butt OR write a blog entry
 What it does is a thing of beauty also--it says in small letters at the top of the WHITE SPACE "search complete" when you type in the name of a region. It also puts those pesky 'Teleport' 'Show Destination' 'Show Me' or 'Clear' buttons in tiny, tiny icons at the BOTTOM of the WHITE SPACE where they are not as noticeable and usable as they were before!  Also, the other search functions are now VERY SMALL and I don't have to worry about checkmarking them because they are absolutely not interrupting my view of the slowly loading map. When they were viewable, in the last client, they just were too noticeable and, dare I say it?--OVERLY functional. It's almost like when the Clinton Administration re-designed the Welfare to Work Program, so it wasn't as easy to get welfare if you were poor and unemployed and disabled. I must say, it's almost as usable and functional as No Child Left Behind! Yay for the new World Map features!I <3 Linden Lab!! _____________________

Let's try and keep this constructive, guys. This thread is for everyone who wants to praise the awesome display of ultimate awesomeness that is the new snapshot feature. Want to insult LL or each other, please go to another thread. It would be a shame if the only thread thanking the people who put this function at the top of a to-do list was closed because of rampant negativity. I, for one, think it is genius and has improved my gameplay 250%. Everyone was always complaining about lag this lag that, well now they finally went and did something about it by giving us the option to exist in a single moment forever and all anyone can do is complain in response. Do you seriously not see what a needed feature this was? It's seriously the best thing since the eyedropper tool. I just want to hang it up on my mantle and make sweet, no-strings-attached, intellectual love to it. It is THAT cool. Well, actually, it's cooler. I'd like to sign into several alts at once and exist in multiple frozen moments simultaneously while I make sweet ascii love to it. That would be sweet. The money shot would be in Lindens and then we could cuddle up by the prim fire with some non-toxic RGB cigarettes and chat about our future dreams and hopes that something even greater than a snapshot redux will take place. How about tilting cameras? Dutch angles! Now THAT would be revolutionary. This seriously needs to be a feature suggestion.

I just want the preview window back. For taking multiple snapshots in quick sucession, this new system just isn't as good. I want to continue to see the scene in real time while I try to click shots using the preview. *sigh* I appreciate the new functionality, but it's irritating that certain types of snapshots will now be harder.
