Think Steve Martin, John Cleese, Don Johnson, Sean Connery, Michael Douglas, Martin Sheen.

Cary Grant!

I think bodies and skins are needed as well as new clothes.

I agree. However I think the mesh won't allow Sean Connery as he is today. The rest are possible.

@Chez

Thanks.

In R/L ... anything from Walmart.
In S/L ... I must go to Photo Shop to get that Walmart style

Faded Jeans and a worn out Wife Beater....

For shoes? Good old fashioned bare footin is the only way to go :D

Check out my Main Location in Tridens!

I think you hit upon one of the major problems of SL clothes, particularly for men: the mesh. Among the frustrations I have are:

1. There is no mesh that allows a jacket or shirt to just fall straight down. In addition to tightening up at the waist, it also adopts the shape of the chest too faithfully.

2. You can't make a loose-sleeved jacket unless the shirt underneath is loose.

3. Can't make sagging shirts and loose shirts are too billowy.

4. Even at full length, pants are ankle freezers.

5. Even at full tightness, pants remain bootcut.

Weneed more casual and dresey pants with texture belts. Prim belts require a lot of adjusting and still end lookong like a steel band no matter what yhe texturing. I went around for a month with a sword riveted to my hip because i coudent find a pair of jeans with a belt. Sense then i found a few but they are few and far between.

I have discussed this issue with many designers and over and over it is the same problem...

guys just dont buy as much as women do and the retailers go where the the money talks. Guys do not change their clothes as much as women and tend to wear the same outfits on a regular basis.

I suppose you can say its because of the selection...but seriously...its 2 different games for ladies and guys. Get over that hump and your male clothes business will rocket.

(PS. as for the jab at hijacking the thread, it was not an attempt to do so. I went and selected mens clothes stores for the express purpose to offer a variety of mens clothes at our mall. I saw a need and tried to fill it. Thats all I was trying to imply without being wordy. Just trying to be helpful.)

I do have to say, I wouldn't wear any of that stuff. Maybe a nice smoking jacket, just for fun though. lol
