I'm in Bare Rose and can't port out. Search is borked. I can still chat and move though. Looks like another holiday weekend grid attack.

Yes.
1. They did away with stipends. 2. They allowed unverified free accounts. 3. They reduced the weekly allowances for new premium players. 4. They are doing away with the discussion areas of the forums. 5. They are going back on promises concerning the maximum amount of lindens they will be selling. But I logged in OK. _____________________

Can't login either, got a message that said that only Maitenance accounts were being allowed on so I'm guessing a new SL update is close at hand.

You know, not to bitch or anything, but it seems that on Sunday's the grid doesn't become horribly stable. Didn't last week around this time the grid went poof?

The grid status says that it is offline...so probably a grid attack. I could not search or TP out. Wonder if it'll come back up since it is a holiday weekend.

I was in-world working on one of my homes, and suddenly was unable to copy scripts into some of the parts that I was working with. Something about a 'failure to create inventory item', when I was just adding a script to an existing item in-world.
My guess is that the Asset servers crapped out again - Possibly caused by a grid attack, but I saw no evidence of that directly. I logged off, and was unable to log back in. _____________________

It would be nice to get a little warning before taking the grid down. Was at a wedding. The bride is now booted off as well. Had she known the grid was going down, even at last minute, she could have re-scheduled or something. Ridiculous.

Wonder if the recently-discovered 'Mega Prims' have anything to do with this, that is those prims being sold on SLX that can be bigger than 10x10x10.
