About the SLCC...

Wanted to say last night was really fun. The Come as you Were party seemed to have everyone laughing and having a good time. Sorry if you missed it, it really was a lot of fun. I'm looking forward to the next party this weekend, the formal, Masquerade Ball.

Also there will be an Air Show on Saturday and Sunday. I'm looking forward to seeing how that will be done.

Anyway, I just wanted to say even though I was hostess of the party, I just had a blast last night. Thanks to all those that tossed me all those great noobie pics you had, they were a hoot!

Well that sucks - I was really looking forward to getting dressed up in my Firefighter Gear (My Newbie outfit for my first 2 months in SL)

Ye, Travis just liked the cut of his RL firefighters outfit, so threw it on for the first 2 months he found SL

Well I think it's a big deal. I wanted to go. I'll be staying in NJ that night and I specifically got a room with wifi just so I could go to the party. Wow.

oh im so sorry I thought my little typo got fixed.. I first put 7th as i was looking on the wrong month... yes i am a closet blonde at times *winks* I really am sorry Travis would had loved to see you there.

I tried to get the invites out to all... those that got them (its a Invite Party Pack) has all 3 party invites in it. They are copiable and people can pass them around to their friends. The party site is on the corner of 4 sims, so MANY people should be able to come and have a great time!


Blaze, Spellbound is doing the IN world parties for those that will not be going to NYC. So people and party in both worlds

I am *so* bummed I had to miss this event. Jennyfur and I had to pick up the t-shirts, laniards and other RL materials for the Convention. My laptop has also been acting up lately when I run SL (I think it melts the video chip on laptops, hehe) so I haven't been able to get in world much.

Greetings from NYC! I'm writing this from the lobby of the New York Law School at the State of Play conference. Its been really neat to meet everyone and all seem to be having a smashing good time!

We're off to the party in about an hour - we look forward to seeing all of you in world and in person!

We got Philip his avatar's outfit today - we're going to try to get him into it, sequin boxers and all... if we pull it off, you can be SURE the photos will be hilarious!

*whew* feel like i've done a party marathon!

I hope y'all in world had as much fun as we did in RL. I'll post more details tomorrow; just got home to Philly, its almost midnight, and we're exhausted! Thanks to everyone who helped, attended, didn't attend - just thank to all of you.

I'm sure our friends with Spellbound did a butt kicking great job in world. I wish I could have bene in world more; what a week for the video chip on my laptop to fry!

It's the next day and my head is still bubbling from all the information, laughter, and friendship I enjoyed in NYC. Look for me in World! It was so great to meet you. You are as cool in person as you are in world. In fact I was impressed with everyone as a whole, especially the Lindens. During the conference, my mother called and asked me where I was and I was at a lost to accurately described the incredible convergence of what I was actually doing, so I hesitated in my response. If you have a mother like I do, she immediately gets worried at any hesitation. What are you doing? I finally had to say I'm at a conference for this, um this thing, umm this game I play online. But those words were so inadequate to explain what we were doing yesterday. The energy that filled that place was incredible. What I really wanted to say was that we were at a Family Reunion, but she would have never understood that.

It was such an amazing time this weekend. I'm exhausted. Many people kept saying it was like a family reunion and it was. So many memorable moments... I imagine the photos will start flowing shortly. There were a couple of moments I wish I had on film, but alas I ensured to burn them into my memory
