I have the original free set available to anyone that IM's me in world.
They are full perms as originally packaged.
Additionally if anyone can direct me to the method used to create them I will make other shapes also.
thanks

I think the word EXPLOIT is being used out of content. The word exploit brings to mind illegal, and hacker. which infact these prims where created and eventually LL wrote code that they became no longer availible as a creation method.. Just the same as several commands, functions, and events have, but I dont hear them being called exploits.

Umm, how does "creating a libsecondlife-based custom client and sending unexpected parameters to the server that the normal client would never let you sent" *not* be considered an exploit? Eventually LL discovered this and added check code to both the server and the client and these prims could no longer be created.

I had always though that these oversize prims were not a result of hacking as many have said here.
It was my belief that these proms were made in the early days of SL , when I here everone could make large prims.
I find the large prims only slightly useful, as you cannot re size them in any way whatever.

Thats not entirely true, you can use a few tricks more commonly used to attain tiny prims (such as sphere dimple) to gain some control of the size of the huge prims however it lacks any fine control and also introduces some nice glitches (such as trying to rez objects on the surface of a huge prim (i.e. from inventory) and of course physics can be a little warped). I use huge prims rarely (one place was as a floor for a very large area) and I'm wary that they may be removed altogether so I'm ready to put into place the primmier alternative if that time comes.

From what I understand that method is no longer available.
