Tiny question

Ok, so I have heard from a few sources that using something called "Tinies", which I understand is commonly used for Avatars, I can make really small prims. Is this true, and if so, how do I get this?

As far as I'm aware, "tinies" is just a collective name for small avatars (kids and babies, etc) - just like a "furry" is an avater modelled on an animal.

You don't need anything like this to create small prims. What you do need it "torture"!

On one level torturing a prim means using large hollow, cut and dimple values - for example - create a sphere, and make it as small as possible (10cm diameter). Now dimple it 95% and hollow it 95% and see just how small the result is.

Another level of torturing is using twists, revolutions, radius etc etc to warp a prim out of all recognition, but you probably wont need this for making small prims

The third level of torture - and some would say this is the only definition of prim-torture - involves using edit parameters that you should not be able to use . Create a box - resize it down to the minimum (10x10x10cm). Now you can make it flatter by dimpling it. What's that? You can't find dimple? Well, of course you can't - boxes don't have dimple! But spheres do! Change your box to a sphere - set the dimple to 95% - change it back to a box - et voila!
