If you are really depending on this for business logging and reports, I would seriously recommend going with HTTP and a database. E-mail is just too unreliable, even without SL's particular e-mail issues. The HTTP solution even gives you the option of switching over to HTTPS without a great deal of hassle if and when you need things to be more secure and private. Even if you never go that way, you won't be sorry after switching.

From: http://status.secondlifegrid.net/2009/03/17/post555/ [RESOLVED, March 17 12:16PM Pacific] Very early this morning, Linden Lab removed several netblocks from the Spamhaus PBL, inclusion in which appeared to be the main cause of the email issues issues. The PBL is supposed to be a list of “machines that shouldn’t send email”. A look at our email infrastructure shortly before 1200 PDT 2009-03-17 seems to indicate that the issue is now resolved on the whole, though it may take up to a day for mail systems across the internet to recognize the PBL updates. It’s not clear when our IPs were added to their list, but that appears to have been the cause of the IM-to-email and object emails failing to reach their intended targets. Here's LL's word for the day.

Yes great! My @live.nl account (part of Hotmail) is working well again. To be honest, I didn't think LL would resolve it so fast. Thanks a lot!

You know, Hewee, I never did this because I just never got around to re-inventing the wheel lol..I have a traffic and stats reporter that I bought..omg WAY back and I'm still using it. I think you are right, my store is no longer a little closet in a rented space. I think it's time I make my own and switch over to a better way.
