Linked to what? You can find freebie poseballs all over SL, and once you own one you can link it to anything you like (provided you own it too and have full perms) or you can rip the script out of it and put it in something else. There are free poseball scripts in many places too. For example, try the one at .

I think we can assume Jano means linked to each other - as in a couples dance

The keyword you need is "syncrhonized". Dance balls have to allow animations to be synchronized and resynchronized.

I have a free poseball script you can find (see FREEBIES in my pics). It has minimal support for synchronization, in that it allows you to change animations (when you have more than one), and whenever you change animations, it starts them both (all) at the same time, in a linked set.

Note that to synchronize animations, you HAVE to change animations. So, you'll need two pairs of anims: the dance, and an alternate anim to use for resynchronizing. A second dance can do, or a static pose.

If you're an animator, you can upload the same animation twice and use the two. However, you can NOT take an animation, copy it inworld, and rename one of the copies and get the intended effect.

Actually, you don't need another anim to "resync", if you stop/start the anim on a very short timer that will work too and still look perfectly smooth at the client. Lear is correct that stop/start in the same event has no effect but a stop/trigger v.short timer/restart in the timer() event is required to make this work.
