...Not when I can buy a properly aligned, better textured, 124m long liveaboard Zeppelin for a mere L$4000 ($15.12)

Giant boats are so last Tuesday...

I did not buy it. My friend did however, which is how i found his yachts and discovered the poor texturing and craftsmanship, and then i saw his posts to this forum so now i am posting evidence that his yachts are not worth $50,000 to $120,000 Linden ($189 to $453 USD).

I think the notecard posted says a lot about the builder.

- You are licensed to rez ONE COPY ONLY
- You have to pay $10,000 Linden ($50 usd) extra for the furniture
- You have to pay $500 Linden to get a custom name on the Yacht
- You have to pay $1000 Linden if you want his help rezzing it.

Scam Scam Scam and Scam.

no i would not.

for several reasons.

1. I would not cough up that much money for anything other than a piece of land of at least 8192m² with the first month of tier already included.
2. Blaze's boats are _not_ what I am looking for when looking for a boat. Had a long IM talk with him about that last night, and he's just catering to a completely different kind of Yacht owners than me.

Well I am buying a yacht for our new sim, but the yacht is 5088 prims, and 167meters. I think it is worth the $36k price tag - it has a few issues like many builds, but for the size and prims and texturing job its well worth it.

If Blazes Millennium yacht was bigger - like at least 110 meters, with several hundred more prims of detail i could see paying 40k for it, 50k may push it - 120k is out of the question.

if I had a "new sim" it would be four open water sims instead of one normal sim, and I would not even think of rezzing such a ... thing there, even if water sims would support that many prims... let alone call such a thing a "yacht".

three points that make a yacht a yacht:

1. physics-enabled drivable vehicle
2. well made
3. as low on lag and scripts as possible.

Well things get redefined in SL, its a virtual world after all :).

It is a LIVE ON BOARD Super Yacht. Which for me is more important than moving. I guess it could be scripted with a non-physics movement script but that could look chaotic.

And when you have a maker from a RL ship company come to SL and start making replica's of real life super yachts, what do you call them?

But points 2 and 3 are very valid.

I think this yacht or a similar one was brought up in another thread recently and almost everyone said that the price was way too much considering the other options available on the gird.

To me personally, 189 USD is WAY too much to pay for one object in SL. That amount alone would pay my current tier for almost a year.

Yea but this time i posted the proof of the accusations of poor building & texturing. And besides he posted a new yacht, so i felt the need to show people in vivid color what kind of work he does for that high price.

A few pics of the Nielsen 75 meter yacht

Take a look at the pics here of my 75 meter yacht. Better yet, stop by VIRGIN ISLE MARINA and take an even closer look. While you're here, check out the over 40 yachts, jetskiis, powerboats, snowmobiles, 4wheel atvs, windsurfers. Something for everyone, every price range too.

Mephisto, I don't normally reveal the owners of my big yachts, but in this case you might check with your employers Digital and Jesse, BOTH of them own my yachts.

- You are licensed to rez ONE COPY ONLY

Well he just means he only wants you to have one copy out at a time. I've never seen anyone else mention that in their notecards, but I guess it's not completely unreasonable...

However, the pics you took: Are those of the yacht your friend got, or of the "showroom" model at the seller's sim? If they're the showroom model, then that's pretty bad indeed.

If it was your friend's, I wondered if maybe there was some lag or something during positioning that could have displaced some of the prims? Does it use Rez Faux or anything like that? I just don't see how you could sell someone a boat with a misaligned deck...

I had been looking at some wonderful yachts lately I have one i may get at 6000L at its great berfect size not to small or big just not sure if its drivable. I am thinking not. Anyway feel free to pm me or im me in world for the LM.

"Posts like this suck. It's totally bullshit to drag someone out in the forums for a public flame-beating.

Troy, you would not like to be the one being lambasted publicly so why do unto others as you would not have done unto yourself?

If you don't like someone, put them on ignore. "
