Hey Tito, I've been going to the Cordova sandbox lately, it's cool seeing other peoples work and talking to them while I build. I do have my own land, Dosojin (150,100) where I'm building a '50s town (just a few streets actually). In fact I will be turning my attention to that now as most of my cars are completed. I have much work to do on the buildings there. I want to get it all completed and have a party there, I'm planning on doing giveaways etc..

Still have lot's of work to do but it's all coming together. Thanks for the kind words everyone!

Here are some pics of what I have so far. I still have a few small exterior things to do, the Mr. Fusion etc.. and the time machine stuff for the interior. So far I'm up to 532 prims, four objects total. The interior will make five objects and that alone will be 200 or so prims.

I have my doubts this will ever run but it's been so much fun to build I almost don't care :D

Oh yeah and she is registered now as well. LOL

Never mind all that, you have to come with me, back to the future!

Edav... I just read that in the news too. Sad... what uncanny timing though. :( The memory of his creations will live on in Second Life thanks to ahk. :)

==prim reduction tips==

for each pair of small cylinders that stick from the sides you can use a cutted torus to make two of them
not many prim spared but still good

amazing work you've been doing on this car! i've enjoyed watching the progress so far and look forward to a day when such a monster can be driven lag-free.. at 88mph! ;)

also, just a word to say:

R.I.P. John Z. DeLorean
he was an inspiration
(and the butt of several good jokes..)

i, for one and part of many, am sorry to see him pass.

Looks beautiful! Does it cause instant graphic lag when rezzed?

Absolutely, and it's delicious... that lag facilitates the magic of TIME TRAVEL . It tears a big chunk of bacon out of the ol' spacetime continuum and acts as lubrication for all your chronometric nonlinearity! :)

technically as long as we have enough banana peels in the Mr fusion there shouldnt be too much problem Torley, but if we go into the past we must try not to meet the Torley-of-the -past at any price or we might create a temporal breach that could lead us to the end of the world ...

just warning

I'm fuzzy on this whole good/bad thing. Whaddya mean, "bad"?

Imagine all life as you know it stopping and every molecule in your body simultaneously exploding at the speed of light.

Total protonic reversal!

Okay... that's bad. Important safety tip. Thanks, Egon.

Whups - wrong movie.

(P.S. - Fabulous build, ahkenatan! :) )

That would have to be the most stylie car I have ever seen in SL. (Not that I have been there long). It sounds really cool. Are you planning on seriously going back in time (maybe some fancy script) or are you just creating it for the heck of it? :D :)

Siggy's are stupid. 'Hey, look! Its that really random signature that I have had to read for the last 6 weeks, because that darn person is to defective to change it!' If this is you, I think we should get our freakin' panzerfrausts and blow every signature on this forum to kingdom come. Thank you for ignoring my signature, and if you went through painstaking process of reading it, then either you have to much time on your hands, or you have the I.Q of the slug.

Well, although I believe Torley has found a way to use the car to travel through time, I have not been able to do it yet.

Again the kind words are appreciated from all!

I do have a few of my cars up for sale now at The Good Old Days - Dosojin (123, 22) .

Keep in mind they are just models, not running as of yet. It's going to be very difficult to get them going, I need to get sounds, etc.. so more work needs to be done.

The place still isn't completed, just haven't really had the time. But I will continue to work on it and maybe some more vehicles including variations of the cars I have built already.

Ever think of doing aircraft or watercraft as well?

Well it seems Cubey Terra has aircraft covered pretty well, I doubt very much I could compete on his level. His models are perfect AND they fly!

I've thought about watercraft, in fact I was looking at drawing up plans to recreate the upper decks of the Titanic. But that is very far off in the future.

I really would like to get into some serious sci-fi builds, like the Eagle One from Space 1999 or Trek/Star Wars stuff. But again we'll see. Got so many things I'd like to do I almost don't know what to do next.

The Eifel Tower????
Holy smoke how about the Taj Mahal or Big Ben while I'm at it? lol

Actually, now that I think of it, the Eifel Tower would be pretty cool. To do it to scale I'd need about 10 sims worth of prims. Anyone want to donate a few sims? ;)

Verah nice! I'm a big fan... By the way i saw an old station wagon type thing you have with wood walls! If you want to display that in Boardman let me know, i think it would look great in the burbs.
