I tried posting this to Snapzilla but didn't have much control over how dark the photo ended up once it got there. Very hard to see. So here is how it was supposed to look.

The lights are on and someone IS home!

Cadroe, I'm sure I wouldn't have minded more lights, but as Desmond has his own plot now I mind even less :D

Here's one of me pondering my stage construction in Neualtenburg.*

Cailyn, that has such a romantic, spiritual (in the general sense) glow to it. Kind of like Angkor Wat... wow. I like the redband of sun.

It's old, but it's one of my old "standards" that I wear often (and one of the few spaghetti strap tops that actually looks good).

Chip Midnight made it of course.

Love this one... contrast local light inside and sunset light outside... not sure if earrings are glowing through the eyeballs... but who cares!... love that light... :)

Your snapshot reminds me of some of the scenes from the first Schizm game, breathtaking, atmospheric and very surreal :)

Here's one of my chapel...this was taken at sunset. I love the glow on the arch, and just the overall warm feeling.

Very nice work. I didn't even see anything like back from the 1.5 days. Major Kudos.

That chapel was awesome! I haven't had Local Lighting on too much recently but one place I knew I could see some pretty stuff was here. :D

I haven't been able to get Local Lighting working consistently for me in 1.7 yet... seems like some lights will glow and others won't have any effect, and then I'll relog and look again and it'll be inversed. Filed a bug report, wonder what's happening because it certainly didn't happen in the Preview—perhaps it has something to do with the texture load, tho.

In the meantime, I enjoy seeing the piccies here! :)

If lighting like this—or even better—could be made faster in SL and more dependent on a GPU than the CPU (and I have little idea of the technicality, I just know what I enjoy), the world would be a much more lushcious place.
