Thanks ^-^ Yes Arahan, those are some super cool pics and they fit in the Nightwars theme quite well. To clarify: We are looking for avatars or other in world creations that can become the theme for a Nightwars trading/playing card. There are two card categories - Soldiers and Relics The soldiers are classified into races - Vampires, Werecreatures, Undead, Demons and Mystical Creatures of the Night So when someone submits a Vampire pic, it may be chosen to be used as a Vampire soldier card with various attributes. If you submit a blade, sword, talisman, statue etc those would be used as a relic card, which is useable by the soldiers as part of the battle (gameplay). To make a long story short... When submitting an avatar or object pic it might be helpful to mention the story behind it - i.e. it's name and origin etc. and also mention who the avatar or component creator is so we can gain permission to use it in Nightwars. _____________________

The ruins would work well as a scene or set or it could work as a relic card. (i.e. "The Dark Arena of Felwrath" - Relic card that forces both players to drop all other cards and allow only their main soldiers to fight it out.) _____________________

I have attached two versions of two photos. One version enhanced by photoshop and the other the photo taken in SL. The letter b, at the end of the photo name, indicates the photoshop photo.
I hope this is along the lines of mystical.  Adding the following history.... I am sweet Sally Zapata, well I do like to bite, but I let people bite me back so I think that evens things out. After all I do taste like apples! Most know me as Sally, but a select few know a more mysterious side of me. That side of me is know as Danger Girl. Danger Girl is rumored to be the result of a union by a beautiful winged princess, and a soldier who came to her planet to save it from sun creatures. I, Danger Girl, have no proof or memory of this as I was found in a basket one day by a gypsy picking apples. I was raised to be a happy, although a somewhat odd looking, gypsy. Until, (you know there is alway an until), I was taken from the only home I had ever known and was transported to a place called Second Life. In this world I live my days finding comfort amoung the flowers, and my nights I wait, willing to transform at a moment's notice into Danger Girl to fight. My ability to transform has helped me survive many battles. No one really knows my true look, but in the attached pictures my transformation was the result of using items from the following... My hair is by Zyrra, skin by HoseQueen, I have to look and see who created the tats the are on my arms and chest, and who created the wings. The flowers are created by Fallingwater. And I made my av shape and my mystical orb is made partly from a freebie disco ball. Sally _____________________

She's the model in these two pictures!! First= Zombie Housewife....She was murdered by her cheating husband so he can run off with the secretary, now she's back for revenge......armed with hairrollers and a paddle brush. The soldiers of Nightwars are all technically supposed to be beings of the night, so it would definitely be more themed that way. _____________________

Kitzah is a demon from the shadow realms, cast out from his home and left to wander. the story is much longer, but i really don't feel like writing it all out  . |

For the ones I did (see first page) the two avatars are by Daryth Kennedy (the dragon) and Nargus Asturias (rapor). I'm 99% sure Nargus will agree. I don't know Daryth well enough to say, though she might be willing. Not so much story. Nargus might have something for the raptor. For the (silver) dragon, it's just me--there isn't any real story. |

You definitely don't need photshop! I have seen many great pictures that came straight out of SL. Just get into a themed outfit and AV, go to a neat location and start clicking away! A nice thing about this contest is it doesn't cost you a single linden to save the pics to your harddrive, so it won't cost you anything to take snapshot upon snapshot until you find one you like! Hope to see your entry soon Jaz PS There are a bunch of different categories to win in. For example, Best Outfit may need no photoshopping, just some creativity and taste in SL! |
