NightWars is a trading card game in production for Secondlife. The theme of NightWars is the battle for control of the night between Vampires, Werecreatures, Demons, Undead (zombies, mummies, etc) and mythical creatures. Players will construct decks of individual cards and play their decks against other players' decks. The cards represent the soldiers in their army, the vampires, werewolves etc. There will also be cards representing weapons and other specialty items.

Each card will have unique abilities, so the makers of NightWars would like a picture from Secondlife to help represent and distinguish each card.

Hox and Jaz Games, the creators of Nightwars, is teaming with SLUniverse and Snapzilla to put on an SL photo contest. We encourage the residents of SecondLife to contribute their incredible talents and imaginations to this game.

How to enter:
1. Submit a pic to Snapzilla with the words "Nightwars Contest: in the title. Also, please include details about the pic such as content creators, where the pic was taken, who is in the pic or any other pertinent info in the body of the postcard.

What to enter: Any pic that you think will fit the theme of Nightwars. Some sample prototype cards are attached below.

Photoshopped or altered pictures are ok, as long as the basic picture was taken inside SecondLife.

When to enter: This contest will run until July 15, 2006. Don't Delay!!

Note: Each Picture can win only one category, but each person can win multiple categories (if they submit multiple winning pics)

Additional Prizes:
*All entries will get put in a pool to be randomly chosen to beta test the game.
*If your pic is used on a card, you will receive 5 copies of the card and a free starter deck when the game is completed.
*Photographic credit will be on finished cards. If you would prefer to have a store, location or content creator credited, that can be arranged (see above card samples for examples)

By entering this contest, you are giving the creators of Nightwars full permission to use your submitted pic on a Nightwars Card, game, tshirt, and any other product that comes from the NIGHTWARS (tm) brand a long as it exists in any and all forms. Let me know if you'd like me to add anything to try and make them better (the raptors have no snazzy animations, wish they did and the one taken at night would look better if I could make the avatar glow a little--anyone know how to light that for me?) or to supply information.

I of course found myself in a RP-only zone (the castle), I got an odd look after re-wearing my ussual av instead of the 30 foot dragon. *Chuckles* no harm done, but it was amusing.
You know, I should do another of the raptor infront of Dino Park instead of inside it.... *Wonders if Nargus has a good sign for it yet or not*

Indeed. I'd have done it for my night and black dragon pic if I'd been able to figure out how to do it right in a short space of time.

It's me and Richie waves in his female avie in the picture, all 4 of those girls are us ^-~ took a pic seperately with each one and photoshopped them into that background.
The skirts are from the Lena pixeldolls outfits and the fins made by EmeraldEver Cline.
Pics were taken in a photostudio, the only thing photoshopped is the background and obviously the color of the girls ^-~ Hopefully I can enter it?

Great pic Scarlet! I really like the water demon idea, I hadn't even thought of that. I think photoshopping should be ok, as long as it is relatively minimal. We don't want to stray too far from the SL "look" (mostly because that look is the one that is most available )

Haha.. Well, don't know what species this would be Vampire, Werewolf, Undead, Demon or Night Creature.... Maybe with some furr?

Fourth= Undead Zombie Ballerina....Dancing in the graveyard of discontent.(outfit from Pixeldolls, skin was a freebie on halloween!)

Very good pics Scarlet, you have creatures that fit into almost all of the races . I really like them.

Sammi, fantastic Angel Av! You think maybe you could take some pics at night - seeing as how the theme is nightwars. I think an Angel of the Night would be a cool idea for the Mystical Night Creatures Class.
