I try to satisfy all requirements. If I sell boxed animation files, then they are almost always copy/no transfer. The problems come when someone buys by mistake or just changes their mind, as I can't give a refund on a copyable product.

It can also happen that a customer buys more than one copy of a copiable animation by mistake - if I notice this has happened, I will refund for the surplus copies - but sometimes the customer wanted to gift the animation and they thought they had bought a no-copy/transfer version. In that case I will provide a no-copy/transfer version at no additional cost.

It does take up time, and although I will deal with things as promptly as I can, people can get very impatient.

Whichever way you go, there are always pros and cons. I can only suggest that people check the permissions carefully before they buy and just ask the creator if they can supply the product with other permissions if that is what they require.

Of course the real problem is not that the animation is no-copy. It is that SL is unreliable.

I sell my animations no-copy and transfer.
If SL eats them, I send a replacement. I just want to do the copies myself.

True for ONE problem.

The other problem is that we'd like to have multiple copies of our AO, so we can have multiple complete avatar setups with outfit, skin, AO, and everything. Makes for nice quick-changes.

Good that you give your customers a choice.

Thanks to the advice in this thread, I have modified all my solo pose vendors in my main store to sell either no-copy/transfer or copy/no-transfer versions.

Now I just have to fix the couples pose vendors, and my satellite stores, and ...

This is a lot of work.

Not to mention that the back half of my old store collapsed this weekend and I had to move. I'm still cleaning that mess up.
