Are the "Spread Fingers" a "feature" now?

It's been a couple days since I asked Torley for clarification on whether existing anims will be fixed, and I have yet to see any response anywhere.

Does anybody know if this has been answered elsewhere? I know that I am being impatient, but the answer has the potential to have a huge impact on many people and doesn't seem like a difficult question to answer.

Takuan, have you checked your existing anims on the test grid? I would think that is the quickest way to find out if the fix is retroactive or not. I will be checking this out myself over the weekend.

psst, it's "adaptation"

psstt I'm dyslexic so you can just bugger off now.

I don't know you personally Luth, I don't see you adding much here too the question of them fixing the thing, just a counter attack that I should be moving on to other pojects?!?!

Look at post 3 please. Or maybe the many emails back and forth with Torley starting in August I believe about this and the hip bug.

And btw I've made ooddles of poses without the fingers spread. Its called not changing the hand morph and it looks like the hands are relaxed. Not spread. Relaxed. Want a way around the bug? Make some things that don't need fists. I saw that you released some AOs recently so obviously I'm not asking you to do something you simply cannot do.l

"How LONG do you allow something to go broken and unattended to before you're allowed to voice you discontent for the situation."

I also didn't say sit back and not care. I said deal with it in a calm and rational manner especially to the same people who also have to deal with it.

There are ways of voicing your discontent without verbally assaulting everyone who posted here who didn't throw a tantrum.

Well well my good friend Luth, again, haven't added much here. Just miss quoteing the wrong person, and just a little FYI for ya, the AO I put out has "PRE SPREAD HANDS" from older poses, so eventhough there's a "new" ao, I'll let you in on the little fact that they sell like poop considering people have most of the poses already.

Do you read any of the other post before you reply?

*** Just a note, may or may not help? I've tested every hand postion with every priority and the tow options you get are our famous spread fingers OR "relaxed"!!!

This relaxed simply means DO NOT CHANGE ANYTHING as far as hands and SL can give them the default relaxed. This should enable some of us to still create certain types of poses, i.e. Modeling type. Action and gun stuff, probably no.

Uhhh, so good for you with your oodles of poses without the fingers spread, I'm happy for you that you can continue doing what it is that earns you money? What does that have to do with them fixing the something they broke? I'm just so taken aback that because you can do what you want as far as modeling poses, everyone else is supposed to just shut up and do modeling poses too?!?!?!? What don't you understand about other people wanting to continue doing what it is they've always been doing?! What if the hands were broke in reverse?! Hmmm? Your modeling poses would look pretty ass with fist all the time, and I should come in here and tell you, just make gun poses now, nothing you couldn't do I'm sure, but I would never tell you to do something different because SL doesn't want to fix something they broke?!?!?

Again it seems as if you'd rather not read the other post and just comment?

A quick point to help others realize, maybe, I'm not just the mindless crybaby troll some of you may think I am. I felt this a very viable subject considering the length of time it's been a problem, and by some others responses, impactfull to not only my bussiness affairs but others as well. I hope noone has taken anything I've said personal, but there is a method to the madness. Being brought up in a "regular" forum gives it more visability then in the "known bugs" simply because, I for one don't just paruse the known bugs for fun. This has also allowed, say Torley, or someone, to say "it's getting a little more public, do we want to let this get outta control, when it seems like something we may wanna fix for those residence that help add animation content to our experience?"

Verbally assaulting who??? Uhh I remember someone else useing someone else's name in thier comments first and I still don't think I've come to the assault yet as I have not directed anything of that nature toward any perticular "said" individual what-so-ever? Not sure, but I think even Johan understood that I was not directing anything"at" him, simply stateing questions.

Actually no that sort of yelling only annoys people. No one is going to go, 'gosh that Jonny Dusk is so upset we'd better fix this quicker.' I'm sorry, the world just doesn't work like that because you are dealing with humans who are naturally defensive.

Remember that?!

Needless to say, again you have contibuted little to the situation at hand besides telling everyone that "you" are seemingly uneffected and tellin everyone else to do something different?!?!

Luth, I like your stuff, you seem like a nice enough person, maybe try to read ALL the posts and comments before adding something that's pretty much been addressed ;) Did you happen to say anything about they fixed it?!?! No, just more tellin me to do some other type of poses and saying I'm throwing a tantrum ;)

Ironically, eventhough I explained my rational which you must have missed or you'd probably have kept that one to yourself, 2 months of bug reports, live help, Torley etc..
And 1 week after this post it's fixed ;)
(I'm not even going to try to claim this thread really has anything to do with the fix, just an interesting time line there LOL

Good luck to you all, yes you too Luth ;))) And this thread can be considered close from my point of view.

Thank you to all who have taken the time and interest, even if we all can just agree to disagree ;)

Yeah! Finally! We can make fists! It's too bad we have to reupload animations to get them to work but at least they do work. I'll have to test this out a bit more to be absolutely sure.

Hm, somehow you attributed a bunch of stuff he said to me. The first line was me teasing, but I hope you realize the rest was him, not me.

I never took anything you said as an attack on me, no. I was concerned about your tantrum against LL.

And Luth, your comments that he should just switch projects and deal were rather rude.
