they posted on the blog not to place ad's for gambling places why do "business owners" not research before they spend lots of $L on their businesses?

I went and ate some pie, and I will at least give Arua some credit for bringing up the fact that the decision could have been based upon a graphic used and not the actually text. Her delivery may su%k, but she may have hit upon an issue I hadn't yet considered.

i too was curious what zyngo is

i may understand why sl got rid of your classified and others may be in danger also

its a gambling machine just like a progressive slot machine if i understood it correctly

so they may be cracking down and since your ad was probably on top of most others it got more attention

No, I'm almost postive that it's not that and it's probably the use of the graphic that I had used, if not just a technical issue.

Zyngo and other associated brand names of the game, Quince, and 'Shrooms could easily be classified as skill games. If anyone has any experience in this type of thing you're familiar with some of the nuances which seperate skill games from your standard casino games like slots/craps, etc... Even many casino games are skill based using that definition. But it really doesn't matter because I don't fall under any of these jusrisdictions and I could care less what the US wants and does not want. I care even less what any of the US states themselves have for laws on their books. All I care about getting is some concrete information on what SL will allow in their advertising. I want it spelled out and not have to second guess them.

Let's not assume anymore what SL is doing and hope that they come out and are completely specific and honest as to what they willl accept in their advertising and not accept. What games fall within this definition. To assume anymore or second guess is just a waste of time.

Play the game, if you break a rule, you lose. You don't know what the rules are? Too bad, you lost.

Thats how SL is treating classifieds. Its one thing to specifically state which words are okay to use and which words are not. To remove an ad without refund is not ethical, and to make the matters worse, not even tell the person what word(s) that caused them to be punished.

The issue is too broad for SL to define it and penalize people, yet allow the practice to continue within the program they created. If SL wants to stop people from using those words, they need to stop the placement PRIOR to the ad being approved. Thats only fair.
