I didn't thought about it at the time, but lots of Niemeyer's (Oscar Niemeyer, a famous brasilian architect) buildings kind reminds me of some architecture i've seen on SL

I was watching a neighbor building a house a while back and as the plywood walls went up, my first thought was, "I hope like heck they are going to texture the stupid thing!" It was a squarish home too. (Yes, this was RL side.)

Bangkok. People building stuff, tearing it down, building again. Lots of half built stuff left empty. Giant advertising hoardings. A huge 3-headed elephant.......And lots of the prettiest girls are really guys. LOL! I think Bangkok is where they got the idea for SL. _____________________

For some reason Rock concerts feel like SL to me, and when I first came to SL it felt like I was at a rock concert at times. Maybe they both have the same effect on my mind...

a few months ago, we were at an Ikea furniture market. There, I saw a large sofa with a very small, round, blue cushion on it. I pointed at the cushion and said: "Look! A poseball!" - which was exactly what it looked like ... oh man I wish you had a picture _____________________

I've never seen a naked man with bad hair and a three-foot long erection wandering around Home Depot in RL, but if I ever do this will be the first place I post about it.

There's, uh, probably a lot of things you didn't know about lindens. Another, another interesting, uh, lindenism, uh, there are only three jobs available to a linden. The first is making shoes at night while, you know, while the old cobbler sleeps. You can bake cookies in a tree. But the third job, some call it, uh, "the show" or "the big dance," it's the profession that every linden aspires to.

I was at a strip bar recently where the Dancer on Stage kept repeating the same Three or four moves in sequence. BOY did THAT remind me of SL! (Her boobs were artificial too, Just like SL)

Oh man! I've found myself walking around looking at people and having the urge to right-click and check out their profile. Life would be easier if we could do that you know. You see a hottie, right-click and check the profile, then send an 'IM' to them.
I did that mentaly in my head the other day. I gotta go check myself into the looney bin. |

I was in Las Vegas and for some reason thought "wow they're using a lot of mega-prims here."
Actually Las Vegas reminds me of SL. Strippers, casinos, but some really cool builds, lots of entertainment, and great shopping. And lots of lost newbies. _____________________

ROFL well check me in too, I look at buildings and think they could have done that with less prims, or try to figure out how many was used _____________________

And lots of lost newbies. yep went to vegas about a month ago, my first time there, went into a casino and thought, wow SL doesn't over rate the amount of games in a casino, they really do have a ton and just like SL most were not being used as for strip clubs, no clue, no desire to have a clue either _____________________
