Like a trout rising to the fly, I take the bait.
Okay, I don't know a Bimbo Store, but I love Good Life (and so do many other people) Quietly fashionable and rather kewl, if you get my drift - but pricey. Hairstyles are wicked. I wear the men's hair styles which look great on female avitars.
Thanks for the H*h*h* - tres droll:)

To complete the bimbo look, don't forget the hair. Big hair. BIG hair. Alabama trailer trash down you your butt teased up B I G hair. Ecstasy from Jolie Femme is one. I'm pretty sure Naughty Designs has some as well.

If you are looking for something specific in clothing but can't find it, let me know and I can make it for you. Torn fishnet gloves, stockings with the seem up the back or a bubblegum pink baby doll top for example.

Is there a difference between a bimbo and a slut?

I am not sure, but for the look of sleeze and whore, head on down to IMAGE- where IMAGE is everything. Oh and for big hair Gurl6 Dharia is fantastic, thats the hair I use for Porno shoots.

In my experience, the question is more - where can one shop to NOT get the bimbo look. :p

Yes, a bimbo is too stupid to be a slut.

Geez, with so many people done up as bimbos, isn't there something more creative one can do?

Ever notice how funny the bimbos look at a distance? All you can see is stick legs stalking around (sexy walk doesn't work well for me when viewed from a distance) with their blingy shoes going off in all directions. Then there are those little prim skirts sticking straight out, trying to keep up with the brisk clip as they stalk from one store display to the next. And who came up with floor-length hair that comes in slices?

If one presumes that the bimbo look is designed to find dates, do guys actually like this? Or do guys think "well, she looks kinda ridiculous with that hair sticking out, but she's obviously hot for my prim"

Inquiring minds want to know

B.

In UK we dont really recognize the bimbo. I think a "slut" which is HIGHLY derogatory has more of a "used" look. Often seen in small gangs, sluts may roam city centres and frequent drinking establishments. They are NOT naive but have an air of innocence about them. In real, I have been called a slut on numerous occasions - often by older women.
Older women think a slut is a BAD woman.
Older men are tempted. By the way, a "slut" is NOT a "slag"

Do you really want to know what goes through our heads? Ridiculous is not the right word. It's like a nude painting on black velvet. It screams erotic, cheap and easy. The only thing we are thinking is how do I aviod her after I have my fun.

A bimbo is to a man what a jerk is to a woman. You know it will only end badly but you just can't help yourself.

Jig's "hehehe" thread left an image in my mind of the bimbo. I've also read about noob "want sexxies?" attacks, but never experienced one. Finally, RP'ing a bimbo in a place like Deadend (forget Drifters, it's closing for good) might have potential. Dunno. I suck at RP, but perhaps I just haven't found my muse yet.

Anyway, I thought I'd try on bimbo, and failed miserably. LOL. Ended up looking slutty instead. Fetishy slutty. Ug. Anyway. I have no idea where to shop for bimbo... thus this thread.

A slut could look conservative, bimbo, goth, demon, neko, or tree. Or a bunch more things. Male or female. Or both. Or neither.

We've been through this before people. Slut is a state of mind. Whereas bimbo is a lack of state of mind. ;) J/K.

A bimbo can also be happy, friendly, sincere, hopeful, naive, trusting, trustworthy, sharp as a bag of hammers, or very intelligent. So don't get me wrong folks. Bimbo's are great. Think about it.

The derogatory names for women make for fascinating reading,
Slag, slut, courtesan, prostitute, Moll, Nun, whore, strumpet, vixen, etc. Even the use of "hysterical" is anti-woman and insulting. I would never use that expression.

For men? well, I guess "asshole", bastard and sonofabitch? Tosser, WANKER! I love using wanker. It is such a chewy word.

Dunno. To me "slut" and "vixen" are positive words. *Shrugs*

Yeah, they have a sense of optimism wheras a slut is like a ";(emphasized) USED (then mumbled) car salesman"

Only if she's wearing a rubber habit. And I don't agree with your view of slut. I suppose it's a cultural difference.

Vixen :) My favorite! You can call me that any time.

Ok, let us think about Slut for a moment. Here in SL, I think it has a whole different meaning given Trout's whole thriving business of rating us women.

Look how a bunch of us intelligent, gorgeous, self-possessed, mature and confident women have clammored to have this man rate our Slut-ability. We all feel good enough about ourselves, to trust that we are desireable and worthy of being judged by this man!

I think I've pretty much met all of you, and I can safely say, I don't think there is a bimbo amongst us.

I've never had a problem with the words courtesan, vixen, and etc (the word etc.). I have no idea what nun is doing in there, and I have no idea what "slag" is, and only a vague idea of strumpet. For some odd reason, I became annoyed when someone used "skanky" in my presence the other day.

I am actually interested in where to find the "sophisticated" look.

Holy moly, Jig. What guy stepped on your tail recently?? I'd hardly consider those words to be the male version of bimbo or slut. Or 'jerk' for that matter.

I'd think 'gigolo' or 'manwhore', possibly. Or even 'the average guy' :D

I think you may have a pretty good head on your shoulders, there, boytoy.

But, we are talking about The Look, and it's too early to derail the thread...

You have to wear pink. Micro-mini skirt. A belt is good, especially if it's wider than the skirt. A top with lots of sequins, or better yet, a cute little animal or a heart or a funny slogan, like "Hot Chick". Or a really short top that exposes the bottom of your breasts is cool. Musashi-do has one as a freebie.

Platform spike strappies with lots of bling, or pink or white boots. Lots of blonde hair (Escape is good, I have that one for bimbo-ing. Even better is Cake's "Wish";). Whatever the style, make sure it's loose, high prim, and at least a little in disarray. Pink or nude lipstick, prim lashes and plenty of eye makeup. Accessorize! Carry a handbag or a stuffed bear. Or a handbag shaped like a stuffed bear, that's like soo cute. Stretch your legs and inflate your boobs...get a Barbie to use as a shape model. Finally, get a sexy AO and a smile attachment. And use voice...bimbos can't type.

You are, like, the awesomest bimbo ever.

I hate the word Skank. And Slag. I just hate them. Whore too.
I like Vixen, sends the impression of being sexy in a good way. Slut I don't have a huge problem with, depends in which context lol.
I got called a tart once. I thought that was funny. I think that is a funky word.
When someone says Bimbo, I auto think of Clueless.

I have seen a few places with the Bimbo look. The kind of airhead, bubbly, never sad. always cheerful, vacuous smile, kind of look that I associate with the word Bimbo. Forgot the names of the shops though lol.
Pretty sure I have that look somewhere in my mass inventory lol.

I've noticed the use of "slut" and the like to be somewhat unisex. Especially if the person using the term didn't realize who they were using it for. Like say a rather ravishing vixen like creature who . . . turns out to be a man.

Strong women, effeminate men, short-haired women, long-haired men.

One of those things. The men seemed to be a little too "emotional" and "connected" to their feelings last time I checked. Whenever that was.

Where'd the John Wayne, Jimmy Stewart, David Niven, Sean Connery, Gary Cooper, Clark Gable, Gregory Peck, and the like go?

Now we just have weepy men like Richard Gere and the like.

Notice, that these are not muscle bound men with very tiny heads and covered with tattoos.
