Sorry, I did mean first look viewer, am tired and brain closing down lol.
Download it and try to see if it helps. A lot of us in the UK have been having the same problem and it is our isp providers and not the fault of SL. Some have been using a 'fair use policy' restricting heavy users like online game players at peak times without informing what they are doing.

I've had problems like this - can't remember if error message was exactly the same.
More than once I have given up on the day when the problem persisted and found all was OK the next day.

sometimes for me I unplug my DSL for about 5 minutes and then it works. Just a suggestion.
