Nothing wrong with brown skin... NO Oryx most def not. We all pretty much agreed the color of that skin is unnatural - not "tan" per se. I have never seen a tan that looks quite like that. It a strange color, uneven and spotchy. That skin was not made well and looked poor on us all (except for Ann - darn you Ann!). We all understood that it isn't the color of the skin that is the issue, it's the quality. I do wear darker skins. One of my favorites is an "indian" skin with a bindi on it, that makes me look gorgeous. It's the right tone for me and done beautifully:  I hope you didin't misunderstand this, from any of us! _____________________

That skin was not made well and looked poor on us all (except for Ann - darn you Ann!). What have you been smoking? I mean, blech! We all understood that it isn't the color of the skin that is the issue, it's the quality. I wouldn't even say it was the quality. Finally a reason to get a flickr account ^^ I took some snapshots of me in my current and my old skin, and in the clubgoer skin. I think one of the main questions of the OP was if skins changed your features. In my case they do! I made my shape after the male bronze skin (2), which looked good until the Windlight viewer got released. Now I think it looks waaaay too orange. It's a good skin though. The one I am currently wearing (1) is essentially the same one, but waaay paler. But well.. you're a white kittie or not... The clubgoer skin is not my cup of tea *rolls his eyes* Aen |

Oh well, thought I'd take the plunge after all:
L-R TBP Envision Platinum (default Max) Boy Next Door Medium (library) Musician Male Medium (library)  and then L-R Clubgoer Male (should be clubbed to death) TBP Envision Wraith FP Jack Skin Noir Eyeliner Scruff  The Wraith and Noir skins are fun, but I'm rather attached to default Max. The skin and the hair don't and won't change. Clubgoer is utterly pathetic, but I'll concede that the Boy Next Door and the Musician skins are not bad for Library freebies (but not me). _____________________

/me runs to turn it off then -- damn, that setting does not exist in the 1.18.5.3 version.  You can add " -noinvlib ' to the target line in your windows shortcut prop sheet. I keep 1 shortcut with and 1 w/o available for each version of the viewer I use. Not only does it reduce your inventory total count, but it *significantly* expedites inventory searches and prevents all of that Library flotsam from showing up in your search results. This alone is well worth editing the shortcut. _____________________

It's funny - I didn't even know they were there until I saw your photo. I just went for a face shot since we were discussing facial features. After seeing yours I did notice that the chest tat was peeking out over my shirt. Even the tattoo on that skin sucks Oh and BTW? Max does look incredible in nearly everyone of those skins. Not a lot of avatars can pull that off. Seems like only him and Ann. /begins to wonder if Max, is Ann's male Alt or vice versa. _____________________
