I need to know which of the follow are broadly offensive so I can avoid being banned:
Furries
Goreans
Pretending to be a child and not doing anything sexual
Homosexuality
16m² parcels with obnoxious ads set for sale for really high prices
BDSM
Landbots
Guys that pretend to be girls online
Nudity
Since, by definition, broadly offensive behavior is defined by the residents this seems like a perfect question for these forums. All of these things are offensive to at least one person, but I have no idea which of them "broadly" offend.

None of these are "Offensive", to me.One or two are probably annoying, but that's about it.

The fact that you know such things even exist, means you are a deviant and must be banned.
JK
The only one I would deem offensive would be landbots.

From: Chris Norse The fact that you know such things even exist, means you are a deviant and must be banned. Why do I suddenly feel like I'm playing Paranoia? From: someone The only one I would deem offensive would be landbots.
Does 50% count as broadly offensive? I know 2 people is a small sample size, but it occurs to me the term "broadly" has never been defined.

As far as my opinion being considered broad.............well I am somewhat of a radical Liberty lover. They are building camps for people like me.

I don't find anything on this list really offensive (annoying ads on small parcels come close though). But even if I would, I wouldn't want my personal opinion to be the reason that anything is banned from the grid, as long as it doesn't hurt anyone and does no damage in any form. For example, I find religious organisations offensive and potentially dangerous, but I don't want to see them banned or criminalized. The question is what LL finds offensive, and that needs to be listed by LL in detail.

They only reason I chose landbots is because due to the limitations of SL, sometimes they take advantage of mistakes before the landowner has time to correct it.

From: Colette Meiji Broadly Offensive:
Badly worded Blog Posts by Lindens. This could be problematical; if we hold a referendum and it turns out the Lindens are broadly offensive, what happens! And Chris, I did notice the JK, hence the after my Paranoia reference. Speaking of which, is communism offensive to anyone? SL is rather capitalist.

I find communism very offensive. But as long as they keep to themselves and don't try to start the global people's revolution, let them talk. In open debate the commies lose every time.

There is a poll on the forum where you can vote on this. That is much more useful than this thread, since the question is not if ANYONE finds things offensive, but if they are BROADLY considered offensive.
As I said before: I feel offended by the color blue, but I don't think it will be banned soon.

Until his needs became prority. Then sometimes "The needs of the few (or the one) outweigh the needs of the many."

This spirals back to the Animal Farm quote: All animals are equal .. but some animals are more equal than others. Hmm, why does this forum keep reminding me of this?
