 They're classified! Oh - you mean in the search in world? Yes. Sometimes, when All search is tedious. I can gain a feeling for the vendor by how they word their hype. You can tell if they love the product they are making or if rather they love the business world. There is a difference. Also I sort the results in as many weird ways as I can to give a fair chance. The results begin sorted by price I think which is as meaningless as traffic was. Put the word "club" in Classifieds and the first result you get as of this posting is an ad for ocean waves because the price is 25000 (and they evidently have clubs for sale). I'm not sure what this means. That's a mighty expensive wave or club I would think. So first thing I do is sort by name and start in the middle somewhere. Yeah, I know. Maybe that's a little OC. |

So, how do you shop? I am really curious. I usually just use places to find what I am looking for.. I have never relied on classifieds for anything I do IN SL. I am not a big shopper like I was 2 years ago, i get a lot of stuff free now days lol' _____________________

I shop for what I need, I don't look to see what's available that I might want, so I don't use classifieds, if I want a day out I use search and check out a few places, if I need something fast I just go to OnRez or Xstreet.

I use Search All, never look at classifieds, and have never looked at the forum sections for anything. Or I look on SLX or OnRez.
If I see something I like in world, I look up the creator's picks. |

I DO use the new products forum. I occasionally use All Search, but honestly, it sends me to the same places over and over, so I have been discounting it lately. I also use SLX (aka Xstreetsl). I frequently will use Xstreet to find a product, then go look it up inworld before I buy. I also have been known to use Cartel chat inworld for real-time shopping recommendations. . |

Hahah in seriousness I do use them sometimes but I must admit not much, people abuse them too much if I type skins in i want to see skins not a camperville of anything but skins. I tend to use classifieds when search and places search arent so fruitful...Or if I'm looking to buy/rent land. _____________________

Even though I run 2 small classifieds myself, I never look there. My only source of search is Search All, mostly used for texture shopping. Most of the useful tools I already have, so I buy some new animations now and then, and many textures. And once in a while some sculpt maps.
XstreetSL is also a good source of information, especially when I made some sales there. That money is always spent at the same place it was earned  _____________________

I never use classifieds or showcase, 90% of my shopping is word of mouth. Other 10% I use Search All and avoid high listed places.

OnRez/xStreet, shops I'm already familiar with, fashion blogs, New Products, *occasionally* Search > All For whatever reason, the in-world Classifieds seem to bring up a lot of listings which have absolutely nothing to do with what I searched...frustrating and not particularly helpful. _____________________

There are no classifieds in the SL search. There's a tab called Classifieds but the ads are not classified - pretty much like the tab that was called Popular Places but the listed places were not the popular ones.
