Someone made something like this, though I don't know if it's been updated recently http://sl.vr-wear.com/. See also https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-2122. Seems to me more like a fun toy, the novelty of which would soon wear off, than anything else.

It's about a software for IM , and I want to know your opinion about this kind of software. Would you like to have an avatar on msn who smiles when you smile, who follows your facial expressions ick no, mine would mostly have a blank semi-distracted look of concentration whilst I flipped between windows coding or researching... hardly the image I would convey in person. ETA: only ~147$US brenda? kinda cheap if you ask me _____________________
