Anyone have any suggestions of places they like to go dancing - without camping chairs and strippers? Oh, and no casinos either.

Neon Entertainment center does good techno and euro. You may need a good translator HUD (its in a German sim but I haven't seen anyone grow an attitude over using English). Its worth it though, both the music and the people there are first rate.

The Bubble Gum Factory. Classic rock with DJ's nightly, friendly hostesses/hosts and a very friendly regular group. No camping pads or chairs. No casino. A more or less friendly sploder and a nice group of shops nearby. Lag is usually no problem. Give it a try.

I think 777 League is good for the kind of music you're looking for.

Club T-REXXX, we do have adult entertainers on the second floor, but the first floor is dancing. We strive for a classy place. Music is mostly dance. Stop in.

Look up The Towers Village they have live performers and dancing every weekend and and often during the week.

Or you can IM Brian Brewster or Gina Goff.

Another one is Calmtommy Lowell they are all connected and he has another club that hosts
live music quite often.

Three Lions for good jukebox and great live dj's and dancing. Taff's Bar for good dancing and cozy atmosphere.
I would say Mons Venus but not sure if they've re-opened yet. Not strippers but an occasionally scantily dressed dancer ;) Mmm, think there may be a forthcoming casino but a good crowd.

Yep.. my place!
No campchairs, no strippers (well..cepting for the odd newbie, and I DO mean odd, that wanders by in need of some threads) and no casinos. I built a nice dance pavilion near my beach located shopping area. You and partner welcome to hop over any time and hop on the dance balls for a twirl around. Got some nice jazz blues going usually.

Dance clubs without strippers and escorts? Why not just ask for world peace and immortality too, while you're at it.

In my experience so far, the best bet for finding a club, at which "mature" is a level of behavior and not a reference to sex, is to look for jazz clubs. My current favorite jazz club is Jade's. Phat Cats (?) is upscale, but very crowded and lagged to me often. Hot Licks plays rock and Elbow Room plays pop, and neither are stripper/escort clubs.

nice :)

Phat Cats has moved recently. Though very laggy my first visit it does seem a bit better since.
In a similar vein Red Velvet is much much quieter on lag.

Jade's Jazz lounge is aless laggy version to Phat's, I also visited a place my first week here, Blue Velvet I think, that seemed like a pretty nice place, I haven't made it back.

I would really recommend the Hacienda at Choerom (246, 88, 699). The tunes are all rooted in the original Hacienda Madchester vibe and the club is a brilliant copy of the original. No vendors or dancers or any of that rubbish. Just excellent music and wicked English humour, with the emphasis on wicked.

Come along, have a dance and be foul mouthed!

Oh, I'm not the owner but I know my music and I looooovvveee it.
