When my Master, husband, best friend and I all first joined, we were totally lost. We knew we wanted a place of our own and managed to figure out just enough to track down a "landlord," Valentino Tendaze who rented us two little houses across a small stream from each other. He then proceeded to make himself available whenever we had questions, gave us little tools like Flight Feathers and translators and just anything we needed. When we were ready to actually obtain land of our own, he helped us understand the process, gave us suggestions on where to look... just ANY help we needed at any time, he was right there to walk us through it. He's still at the top of my "favorite SL people of all time" list.
Another one that comes to mind is Poddy Collins. She's a shop owner who is constantly giving away clothes to people, forces her MM bads every day with amazing stuff she's made, does all kinds of cool "tourist" builds and just spreads her love and generosity around. Because of what a good person she is, and the loyalty she evokes in her group, when she was struggling to make tier some weeks back, all sorts of strangers jumped in to donate L$ to help her cover her costs... and now apparently someone has donated a Homestead sim for her to use to keep one of her "tourist" builds alive. So that's an example of "what goes around, comes around."
There are so many more examples of kindness I've been able to witness... I consider myself lucky to have been exposed to so many cool and generous people.

From: Zan Beck the occasional Money Tree although these seemed to have disapeared now.
I found two the other day. They must be scripted to only give to really newbies though. When I tried to test it, nothing happened. I paid into both though. (Only saying that for functionality report. I don't talk about whatever nice stuff I do. Anyway it's easier if everyone thinks I'm a rhymes with witch. Lol) If you want the location of those trees send me an IM in-world.

When an established American lady friend in SL heard I was hanging around a newbie area, she too sent me chocca block folders full of stuff for male and female avis. Great first starter de-noobifying acoutrements and notecards too. She had even individually coloured the hair and textures, so no two folders were the same.
