You should both join the group so you can be in the finished item. I'd really like this to benefit everyone in the group. I would, but I am so short on group space I am juggling as it is. Between my land groups, my own store group, and groups I'm in for malls and buying animations, and the couple of social groups I keep for the forums I'm always full. Thanks though! |

Madeline & Jojo join the list. Just thought I'd ask anyone passing me LMs and textures to now put them individually in a folder (not a notecard) and name the folder "LM Exchange - Your Name Here", with the obvious part changed . I'm having a little bother getting the LMs out of the notecards so think this'd work best, plus it'll be easier for me to find stuff you sent when I log in. Remember the textures will work best at 512x512 (square). I'll send this info through the group too. |

What does everyone think of the logo?  I've not had much feedback on that. Not sure if that's a good or a bad thing, lol. Comments and suggestions welcome. Edited to add... I kept it simple so it won't clash with any of the ads that will be displaying below it on the LM exchange. |

Prawny I'd love to be included as well. However, my only shop atm is the satellite one at Rhia`s which only holds a small portion of my merchandise. Should I wait til I get my main store open?

If anyone is a logo creator in this forum I'd love hire someone to create for me a good custom logo. I created one that works...but I feel it is not reflection of the type of items I sell in my stores. If anyone is interested please PM me or send me an IM inworld.

People are bound to want to update LMs every now and again anyway. I think that once we have it all working it might be wise to have an option for people to send me new LMs to be added when needed. Although we might need some sort of time frame putting in there as to how often updates happen. Obviously each time there is a change it would mean me passing out a new copy to the group and anyone else involved, then everyone would have to take the old one down and put the new one out instead. That's not the end of the world I know, but I think everyone would get fed up if it was happening every other day Send me your LM and texture in a folder "LM Exchange - Czari Zenovka" and I'll add you to the list  |

Just a quick update regarding the LM exchange.
It's coming along nicely now. Nim's partner Cyn has kindly made a script that does exactly what I was hoping for. There is a bit of a glitch at the moment that means it doesn't hand out LMs to people using older viewers though, but fingers crossed that can be fixed.
So anyone wanting to take part, please send me those LMs and ads!

Another quick update... I edited the banner logo slightly... Hope this is to everyone's liking. If I don't hear any differently, then I'll use this one. The script now seems to be functioning correctly. Just need some more people then we're ready for version 1 |

Just thought I'd quote something that a wise person once told me when I was asking about how best to promote my store... From: Isablan Neva Use a banner ad on the forums that shows your products -- a logo is no substitute for product pictures. Ever.
Make sure your store picture where you are listed in Search shows pictures of items, not just your logo. People don't shop for logo's, they shop for products. Pretty sound advice this! Definitely something to bear in mind when you're putting together your ads for the new "BO-Xchange". |
