You can also try The Shelter ; do a places search for it. There are usually several people hanging out there.

It's not a constantly buzzing spot, but the Village of Domain is where I go when I want peaceful interaction. There are many campfire spots all around the village; I usually pick one near a creek to listen to the water flow by, and chat with the people that drop in. There's a 'heaven' area in the sky, mellow music, trees to climb, and so forth.
The owner, Gideon, puts up concerts on a regular basis though right now there's a July hiatus on concerts. They'll probably start up again in August, from what I understand.
It's not really meant to be a shameless plug, it's just the place I know the best.
