I was checking out some property a week or so ago when some kind of propeller thing swooped down on me and..well I did the flying thing too. Every time I tried to go back over the property boundary the propeller would attack me and send me flying out again. I guessed someone was pretty keen on getting the property so I thought 'fuckem' and left them too it.

Are there any sandboxes that are restricted to verified residents? If not, someone should open one.
When I banned unverified accounts from my mainstore, caging and other griefing instantly stopped. It's only a certain age group that takes delight in such childish harrassment, and they shouldn't be present in mature regions anyway. If you manage to find out the name of a griefer with a cage toy, AR them for being underaged. It will most likely be the case. _____________________

Haha I had that happen last night. I just bought a new piece of property, and was standing there talking to one of my new neighbors when I was flown off the property and spinning about and around some huge metal tower propeller thing. I set the no push on the land, as sugested by my neighbor, (TY neighbor

I brought the Mystitool last night and saw these options to grief people, why add such mean features to a nice HUD?

Strangely enough, I have ONLY been propositioned by Brazilians -- maybe they like red hair? -- but only a few times were actually in Portuguese. Well, the online translators can't understand most of it, but I'm getting something along the lines of you like how I taste and you're going to give me something big! ![]() I love it when people comply with my "talk dirty to me" requests. I have a gay male friend who left me a phone message in Russian telling he wanted to f*** me long, hard, and comfortably! ![]() It's from a handful of phrases taught me by a portuguese girl. My spelling may be a bit off though. basically says, you're a nice girl, i like you, a big kiss sort of ![]() |

I can recommend the sandbox on the Isle of Wyrms, which is well-guarded by the people who live on that sim. They pretend to be dragons, but don't worry; they are friendly, vegetarian dragons. Thanks, Har! How can I find it? |

Continents move in relation to the earth as a whole at rates that are measured in inches per century. "These plates move relative to one another above a hotter, deeper, more mobile zone at average rates as great as a few inches per year." -US Geological Survey Sorry. I'm a geology geek. ![]() _____________________

Thanks, Har! How can I find it? Rather than just give the coordinates, let me give you the general method for finding named locations. Click on Search near the bottom of your screen. In the box that appears, click on the Places tab. Type in the exact word or phrase you want. In this case, obviously Isle of Wyrms will give it to you, but you could also type in sandbox, and it should appear in a list of sandbox areas the search function will generate. Search is not as good as it should be, and sometimes is temporarily out of order, but it will usually handle something like this quite well. |

I feel SO left out, as I have not even SEEN a cage, much less been caught in one. And I used to hang out in a public sandbox for hours! I've seen prim litter and the giant sim-sized rotating ball o' porn, but that's about it. Maybe at the next Forum Cartel meeting, someone could cage and orbit me just for fun? And then ask me for sex in Portuguese. I can never get enough of that! ![]() I've never been caged either...I haven't even MET a proper griefer yet! The shame! And the only dirty talk some people gave me were two German noobs too stupid to even KNOW the looked like Ken dolls in their trousers throwing obscenities at me. THEN they noticed I actually spoke German. I tought them a few words they probably didnt know... So I could offer asking you for sex in German, also in Old English or Ancient Egyptian if you want, and maybe orbit you once or twice for fun... ![]() |

Maybe you should write a "20 ways to Amuse Yourself when Griefed" notecard, Tegg.

It's a good way to avoid my ACTUAL work. lol Mystical Cookie has a HUD called the MystiTool which, among other things, will tell you when an object has collided with you and who owns it. It's not terribly expensive for the numerous things it does, but I think the free version may include the collision warnings as well. In that case, you can just pull up chat history to see who hit you. Here's the full version on SLX...the free one can only be picked up in-world. http://www.slexchange.com/modules.php?name=Marketplace&file=item&ItemID=120285 Also have movelock so most orbiters won't work. |

I brought the Mystitool last night and saw these options to grief people, why add such mean features to a nice HUD? They are indeed quite nice features and are tools, not for griefing, but to use on your own land to deal with unwanted guests. Clicking on someone and selecting freeze or eject is not always easy, but with MystiTool a quick /1 eject and a few letters, or using the menu for nearby people found, is much easier and quicker. Not to mention that using the land relay you can give your friends/employs with MystiTool the ability to police your land on your behalf. As far as weapons go, they are not overly powerful at all. |

Makes sense to have them tools if you own land then, thanks. |

It took me awhile to work out what it was, but I got out by moving my camera outside the cage and right click and sitting on a nearby wall. |
