From: Elex Dusk Little late for that. The damage has been done. A resident has been singled out by a member of the Busy Body Committee! LET THE WITCH HUNT BEGIN. *OMG Damage done* Runs screaming from the sl forums....NOT Not the first post to be against terms. A rule was broken the post will be locked and you wont have anyone to pick on for 5 minutes.... As for others reading this...I have to agree, there is something wrong when one person can't state a name, but someone else can rip off many many residents, and walk away with so much as his name being mentioned.

From: Micheal Steadham Time to move on to the really pressing matter of theft of hundreds of thousands of lindens by person/persons in game. Okay... prove the theft. All I see is a resident-run enterprise that's presently set a limit on daily withdrawals.

From: VooDoo Bamboo You know this right here just goes to show how screwed up the so called laws are in SL. This guy faces getting a thread locked over a stupid name yet this other guy can take people for thousands of real $$$ and nothing is done. Something to make you scratch your head. It's not the laws of SL, it's the laws of RL. If it is indeed true that he's "stolen" real money, that's an RL crime, and you can sue him IRL for it. Likewise the RL law says that until he's found guilty at a trial, he's innocent - so it's illegal to shout out that he's guilty in public places.

From: Elex Dusk It's not whether or not they make sense. It's what we all agreed to. If a resident can't abide by the Terms of Service, the Community Standards, and the Forum Guidelines, then maybe Second Life isn't the right community for them to belong to. Okay, 1000 L bounty to whoever can give provable evidence of Elex Dusk breaking either the forum rules or the TOS. You think your all high and mighty my guess is your just as big a hypocrite as anyone else who claims that they have the right to judge other people on the rules, and no just because the rules are there doesn't mean you have to or should be the one to enforce them, let the moderators do that since that's essentially their job (or at least what they volunteered for).

From: Wilhelm Neumann trolling, flaming where is my lindens? I'd disagree, though I admit I may have crossed a line on that last post. It just annoys the hell out of me when people act all high and mighty just because they can. I deleted that last post of mine where I did that.

From: Elex Dusk Which one? The guy named in the thread, for which we have no evidence against, or the guy that started this thread and broke the rules while doing so? My answer to the OP's question, Is Ginko-boy a con man?

All I see is a resident-run enterprise that's presently set a limit on daily withdrawals. Which changes at the persons discretion, and if you think that you can even get $1 withdrawn, you're mistaken. If you aren't an investor, then you have no idea and this is why I'm continuing this thread. To warn prospective investors so they won't fall trap like we did.

So all I have to do is pay 20 people for slinging mud at my business competitors, and when enough of my henchmen claim to have been ripped off, no one will buy there anymore? Hm... Just being sarcastic to show why this forum rule is in place.

Just being sarcastic to show why this forum rule is in place. Actually never thought of that before but I could definitely see people doing that if the rule weren't in place, though there has to be a better way to prevent that and allow reasonable naming of names.

From: Isablan Neva I'd say "in before the lock" but this thread scares me.... This thread shouldn't scare you at all... unless you happen to have something a member of the Busy Body Committee wants... or you have something they feel you don't deserve. Then they feel they have every right to take it away from you, or meddle with it, on the basis of all the "good" it will do for the community.

If the thread scares you, then what about the possiblity of Second Life becoming completely like Real Life with all the restrictions and problems therein. All I'd like to see is if they're gonna enforce certain RL laws, abide by them all. Not just a few select few that the "high and mighty" elite have decided need to be observed.
Does that scare ya??

We've found a witch! A witch! A witch! A witch! VILLAGER #1: We have found a witch. May we burn her? CROWD: Burn her! Burn! Burn her! Burn her! BEDEVERE: How do you know she is a witch? VILLAGER #2: She looks like one. CROWD: Right! Yeah! Yeah! BEDEVERE: Bring her forward. WITCH: I'm not a witch. I'm not a witch. BEDEVERE: Uh, but you are dressed as one. WITCH: They dressed me up like this. CROWD: Augh, we didn't! We didn't... WITCH: And this isn't my nose. It's a false one. BEDEVERE: Well? VILLAGER #1: Well, we did do the nose. BEDEVERE: The nose? VILLAGER #1: And the hat, but she is a witch! VILLAGER #2: Yeah! CROWD: We burn her! Right! Yeaaah! Yeaah! BEDEVERE: Did you dress her up like this? VILLAGER #1: No! VILLAGER #2 and 3: No. No. VILLAGER #2: No. VILLAGER #1: No. VILLAGERS #2 and #3: No. VILLAGER #1: Yes. VILLAGER #2: Yes. VILLAGER #1: Yes. Yeah, a bit. VILLAGER #3: A bit. BEDEVERE: A newt? VILLAGER #3: I got better. VILLAGER #2: Burn her anyway! VILLAGER #1: Burn! CROWD: Burn her! Burn! Burn her!... BEDEVERE: Quiet! Quiet! Quiet! Quiet! There are ways of telling whether she is a witch. VILLAGER #1: Are there? VILLAGER #2: Ah? VILLAGER #1: What are they? CROWD: Tell us! Tell us!... BEDEVERE: Tell me. What do you do with witches? VILLAGER #2: Burn! VILLAGER #1: Burn! CROWD: Burn! Burn them up! Burn!... BEDEVERE: And what do you burn apart from witches? VILLAGER #1: More witches! VILLAGER #3: Shh! VILLAGER #2: Wood! BEDEVERE: So, why do witches burn? [pause] VILLAGER #3: B--... 'cause they're made of... wood? BEDEVERE: Good! Heh heh. CROWD: Oh, yeah. Oh. BEDEVERE: So, how do we tell whether she is made of wood? VILLAGER #1: Build a bridge out of her. BEDEVERE: Ah, but can you not also make bridges out of stone? VILLAGER #1: Oh, yeah. RANDOM: Oh, yeah. True. Uhh... BEDEVERE: Does wood sink in water? VILLAGER #1: No. No. VILLAGER #2: No, it floats! It floats! VILLAGER #1: Throw her into the pond! CROWD: The pond! Throw her into the pond! BEDEVERE: What also floats in water? VILLAGER #1: Bread!
