OK, I can't access from the office and am about to jump out of my skin (mush more alarming in RL than SL)! Anybody get in OK after the update? Is it better or did the sky fall? Anyone having problems that didn't before?

grrrrrr, didn't I have to leave early for something?

I just have one small problem I didn't have before... I can't get in at all!

I guess there is a positive to come from this... not being able to get in is shielding me from the horror and doom that awaits within!!

The grid has been "Online" for almost an hour, yet theres only 1,800 (or so) rezidents in world. To me it should have been obvious there was a problem at 10 minutes uptime with less than 1,000 in world. Were they just not paying attention, or trying to fix the issue before admitting to it in the first place on the blog?

In addition, the SL Sites have slowed to a crawl, dunno why since SL binaries are served by Amazon, not SL so the in house sites should be unaffected... (Yes, there is a major hit to the sites to get the DL links, but thats not a lot of data... I was getting 503 (Service Unavailable) errors from secondlife.com

Oy...

This sucks, big time......

I am getting ''networking error 4'' message and can not even attempt to log in, i have to quit straight away.

I have installed, unistalled, installed, turned off firewall blah blah.........

*cry* Is this working for anyone out there???????

Have the 'chosen few' who managed to get in been booted out? The 1800 that were showing as online are now showing as 0.

Error messages I've had blame:

*Problem with MY computers clock

*Unexpected problem

*Wrong Version

Yup, I think they broke it this time!

Website has got a 'little' quicker, but not much. It took me 35 minutes to download the update.... and I was cursing my service provider!! lmao

Good to know its not just me lol.

Mine is only a critical error, with the networking, so i can't even type in my login password, i get an option to QUIT and thats it....

God knows what i am gonna do now..........*looks round scared and slowly retreats back to RL*

Earlier, when the login problems started, there was no info on the official web pages, so just for fun, I dialed the toll free tech #, and they had a recorded message saying they were having login problems! This was before the blog was even updated! I guess they update the pre-recorded phone message before everything else, or, maybe they never update pre-recorded phone message...

Mmmmmm seems my error is pretty critical compared to everyone else lol. I am not even connected at all, can't see how many are inworld and can even attempt to log in, i can only quit out of it, wonder what i ever did to deserve this

Try to look on the bright side. Maybe it messed up and only freebie accounts are being allowed to sign on. That means 6000 escorts are fighting each other trying to get money from 10000 broke newbies looking for camping chairs while 2000 griefers shoot and cage the whole lot.

It could happen.
