I don't know if this is the best place to do this. You need to do an Abuse Report from within the game and you need to be specific as to the avatars that are allegedly underage. Linden Labs doesn't read these forums in anyway that is effective for your needs.

I understand your concern if this is the case but going through the channels by making an AR is the best way to go. As well, please give LL time to investigate.

If these allegations are true use the proper reporting channels, as stated above. It's a Holiday weekend in the States, I doubt any lindens are even reading the Forums. Use the AR system, and please have some evidence to back up your claim. Empty allegations delivered in extortionist style usually aren't taken seriously.

And what exactly are you going to "sue" for. Unless you are a Law Enforcement Official. you don't have much to go on at this point. (And no Law Enforcement Official would have posted such a statement in the first place)

Part of me says this is a troll, because the broken English doesn't look like the sort of mistakes I'm used to seeing by non-native speakers from various parts of the world.

In any event, the idea of suing is laughable. You can't sue someone for committing a crime unless you've been personally injured as a result. You can report them to the authorities, who are free to decide whether or not to prosecute.

In this case, however, it's not at all clear that any laws are being violated. Laws against obscenity and child pornography apply to depictions of sex, not depictions of the offering of virtual sexual services. Could you imagine if a movie like Risky Business were declared illegal? Even those countries that ban virtual child pornography seem unlikely to apply such laws to the situation described here.

The Germans already aired that story. Old news. Besides they don't post in the forum, they go directly to print after getting the necessary info. They don't post forum threats, that's a great way for them to get sued themselves with an injunction against the story.

One thing to consider before you sue anyone is you need to show that you are in some way harmed by them or their actions. If not you are filing a frivilous lawsuit and there are legal consequences of that. In addition if you sue them for being under age you had better be correct, if not you are liable for a countersuit and you will be the one who will be paying damages. Also the tone of this post can be used against you as it seems that your main wish is to profit by this lawsuit and it could be used as proof of an extortion attempt. Your threat of going to the media to cause harm to LL and the parties involved can put you in very serious legal trouble.

This will not end well.
