I heard that Miss Venezuela won the Miss Universe pagent last night. In addition to pulling for Miss USA I was really pulling for Miss New Zealand to win. With all those females it is difficult to make a choice. No I didn't watch it on TV. My judgement was made simply by looking at photos of all contestants. "CX" Congrats to Miss Venezuela! Funny, but all I can think of is...nice earrings! I think I have some just like them...in SL.  |

She's trying to set up her computer station so I can hook up my laptop to her router (wired, not wireless). It will be funny, and perhaps a bit odd, to hop inworld to see her avi...and look up to see her next to me. Folks who are involved in SL with their RL partners or roommates have already had this experience, so no doubt you are used to this! |

She looks behind to congratulate the runners up and all of a sudden she's stumbling around the stage, having hit herself in the eye....she knocks everyone else off the stage and then falls over the tiara (which is so badly designed it has fallen off her now less-than-immaculate hair do). As she falls she hears an ominous *crunch* as she lands on said tiara. She looks out into the crowd, squinting painfully through one eye and surveys the destruction she has wrought. If only she had worn smaller earrings.... _____________________

I've had a similar experience when meeting and staying with friends I met *first* in SL and later in RL. The three of us had to get our SL fixes, so we all sat in their house with our laptops, just a few feet from each other, and inworld. It is both fun and odd. _____________________
